a mutants most powerfuls........

if you consider electromagnetism an element as opposed to a fundamental force within the universe, that makes sense. most often, elemental refers to things such as earth, water, wind, fire and... lightning. you thought i was gonna say heart, didn't you? and, while magneto can create and absorb lightning, as well as functionally control ferrous earth or anything with trace metals in it, he's not psionically interacting with the elements themselves.

and the meggan v. storm blurb was directed more toward feralboy, just to spark debate. storm has incredible power, i will admit, and she can affect the weather like none other. but meggan empathized with an active volcano and got the lava to stop flowing. her hands even becaming strange streams of lava. and that's when she wasn't particularly aware of what she was doing. if it came to a face-off, it would be hard to judge whether meggan's empathetic link to all things earthen would trump storm's complete dominance of the weather.

On panel Magneto and Polaris have both been referred to as mutant elementals.

well not that long ago, in a wizard magazine, marvels most powerful elementals were(in order) the top three. they also had a section of half elementals, and magneto and polaris were on that list. actually, come to think of it, it may not have been a wizard magazine. i'll try to dig it up.

1)storm
2)iceman
3)meggan

storm also has a link to all the things earth, she can feel trees dying, people walking, she's even a better tracker than wolverine because of these purposes.

2) legion or franklin richards

3) magneto

4) xavier

5) apocalypse

6) wolverine or lady deathstike

7) apocalypse or xavier

8) sage

9) x-man, apocalypse, franklin

10) dazzler, ooooooooo i have the power to be a flashlight. lame.

theoretically she is, yes. historically and by reputation, she wouldn't be.

and dazzler was a former herald of galactus. that pretty much beats anyone else's mutation, particularly the definitively lame characters such as beak or ugly john.

theoretically who is what? and yeah, dazzler is far from the weakest mutant. she has easily knocked out colossus in armored form.

Molecular mutant?
Molecular-based mutations give subjects attributes which defy physical science such as Elastics,Replication,Invisible,Intangibles

theoretically, if storm truly has a gaia-esque link to the earth (something i've never heard before, but rather that she can sense meteorological phenomena, most often on earth due to familiarity) she'd be a better theoretical tracker than wolverine. but it's not been put into use, and wolverine is known as the best tracker the x-men have. and i don't think storm would be able to contest that in any modern context.

In some respects she most certainly can. Storms power is to psionically manipulate ambient atmospheric energy patterns. Storm can see the world around her in terms of these energy patterns. She can and had tracked people via the disruption their powers cause to these energy patterns.

She is also attuned to the flow of air currents and can and has located objects travelling to or from her person by the shift in air currents.

Notes:
Apocalypse strength is neither naturally derived nor purely due to physical strength - thus imo he's disqualified. Iceman isn't an elemental he's a cryokinetic.

stormfront you make it sound as if Storm is omniscient. She isn't.

pr, I know... Blink = droolio

reply dammit... 😛

Larger size for your viewing pleasure lol. If Blink wasn't purple she'd probably be an Asian chick.

You assume i didnt know that? I have a sixth sense about such things... 😛

though that particular pic reminds me of kira from star trek ds9...

I'm not a trekkie, never watched it... but if there's someone who looks like my lavender lady on it I might just give it a go.

Should have an X-Woman hotness contest lol.

lol, its a slight resemblence... the face...
