Fair question. What we do know is that Superman is moving at superspeed. We have nothing showing likewise from Silver Surfer in combat.
An even better example is his fight vs. Wonder Woman, who we do know moves and fights at super-speed.
He was a blur even to her.

i'm not sure about the outlasting bit, but maybe Superman can outspeed him in the REFLEX department espicially when the writers don't use it for SS nayway as he has the power cosmic so i guess they fougth he didn't really need it or there was not point in SS using it.

Yeeaaah, but it still a little iffy. It's the equivalent of flying at warpspeed, except he has his hand out blasting. I figured he'd be able to do that.
Combat speed has different implications. And we haven't see much to go on, despite hundreds of fights.

This method has tried and failed against weaker opponents ... If he can put down Thor, then he has no chance against Supes .... If you read the recent Sentry mini one will see how the fight between Sentry and Terr ax went. The Surfer Superman fight would be a similar performance ! 🙂

Which, like i said before, is fine. I just didn't like the blanket statement that Surfer is faster and more durable, when the evidence doesn't support that statement.

Agreed !!!!!!!! Totally Dude .... Surfer beats him 8/10 .... Supes is nearly as fast, at least if not more durable, and is far stronger ! 🙂
