I'd say gladiator is dum and a dum character who is jsut dum.
On another note... silver surfer could take superman, but superman could also take silver surfer. Silver surfer also encased Galactus in "solid energy" in the fantastic four cartoons too, and Galactu's easily punches out of it. Soo....... silver is faster I think. Supes is stronger and he's still fast. They are both highly durable. But supes is pretty susceptile to magic and I guess silver's stuff is kinda like amgic, so I'd give it to him 6/10.

surfers strength is potentially immeasurable...depending on the amount of cosmic energy he absorbs. i have to disagree with you on that one.
Supes is stronger. He has the feats to back this up.

They are both as strong as the writers want them to be, therefore its a tie.
But the writers have SHOWN Superman to be stronger than Surfer on a very consistant basis. The writers hardly ever display Surfers super strength.

Yeah so Supes would just fly to the nearest star to juice up. Surfer would just absorb the ambient cosmic energy that surrounds him. The entire vacuum of space would energize him.
