A lot of people think Surfer is going to fly up and fight Superman hand to hand like a moron. All he has to do is use his cosmic awareness to instantly find out his weakness like he did Gladiator then keep out of range while he bombards Superman with green K radiation. With Surfers speed advantage he shouldnt even be hit unless he screws up.

In 1on1 fights without prep/assistance, superman does not fight anyone even close to the surfer. Eradicator is powerful, but has the durability of a fly.

Darkseid post crisis (the one that has omega beams reflected by HEAT VISION) loses badly to surfer. Mongul, blaze, and doomsday were never in surfer's league.
