To me the death penalty is just an easy way out. I'd prefer someone be locked away for the rest of their lives, rather than spend 10 years on death row before they are finally executed.
I don't believe in the whole 'an eye for an eye' thing. You can't kill someone just because they killed another person.
We don't rape people who have been convicted of rape, do we? Why? Because it would be inhumane, yet it is deemed perfectly humane to stick a needle in a persons arm and kill them.
I just don't agree with it, for that reason, and the reason that innocent people have been executed, and innocent people are likely on death row as we speak.

just meant, that crimes dont just happen without anyone knowing shit about it, usually. i mean theres a difference between being guilty in a court of law and being guilty in reality. half of the time everybody knows who the killer is besides the cops because just nobody wants to get involved and put their neck on the line to testify.
