Because he's young and charming and wears a different GL suit? Is it that which makes special? He is part of corps, he took the job, he should be expected to died.

He's special because he's his own character. He just not Green Lantern but Kyle Rayner. And alot of people prefer his character to Hal's.

And several of them are stationed on Earth. Green Lantern isn't Superman or Wonder Woman. There can't be only ONE of him. They're an army. A squad. And squads and armies have many people. So Kyle can keep living. Because every other Green Lantern besides Hal is living too.
Hal hasn't replaced Kyle. Kyle ceded his role on Earth and is now working at the Corps.
You're gonna have to do better than "Hal died so Kyle should die too!"

Yea, but we all know that a major player in the DC universe is gonna bite the dust, like i said before, i'm a rayner fan, so i hope its not him, but if a GL member does go... my money is on him, guy gardner, kiwolog, and john are somewhat secondary players, one of them might die, but considering that rayner is a more of a major player than the rest, i say he would get it. This story is suppose to shake up the dc universe, rayner dying would do that, kiwolog, not so much.....I mean look whos died so far, nobody major, and you know as the story unwinds the biggers guns are gonna get into it, and some ara gonna die. I doubt Hal is gonna is die because they just brought him back, green arrow has been dead, superman has been dead, so i'd say there safe, especially supes since he has a movie coming out.

If that list holds to be true, i have a few things to say about that.
Shadowpact - Characters dont really interest me besides Blue Devil.
Blue Beetle - Can do without. Depending on who the new BB will be.
OMAC - All them bastards should be destroyed.
Batwoman - Batwoman? Who the hell is that. Barb gets a suit like Stark that allows her to walk?
Brave and The Bold - Starring Flash and GL? Werent they the origional B+B team with Hal and Barry?
Freedom Fighters - If Ray survives id finally like to see him get some exposure, so that would be nice.
Martian Manhunter - I guess its due.
Secret Six - Because Parademon died, im not looking forward to it as much.
The Spectre - Depending on whos the host.
Shazam - Well deserved. Cant wait.
Why cant Black Adam get a series? Or Joker? I think some villains are in need of their own series. Especially those two imo.
And Zatanna definately needs her own ongoing series.
Batwoman will probably be Cassie Cain since Batgirl is ending.
Brave and the Bold is confirmed with the team of Mark Waid and George Perez. Should be great.
