Well it prevents people from complaining like you're doing with Joe Q.

I complain about some of the things he does, that's natural. However, a lot of the things going on right now are very exciting too.

Digging through the garbage bins in DC limbo to look for sacrificial fodder isn't all that appealing to me though...It's just using them as a plot device for the sake of "killing" some people. What's the point in having a "Death toll" for no apparant reason other than, [sarcasm] "In a 'good' story, a bunch of people HAVE TO DIE."[/sarcasm]

I'm hoping the one significant death of the whole thing is worth it.

Of course you're free to disagree with my assessment. No hard feelings.

No hard feelings at all. I enjoy reading your opinions but just remember that Crisis is only just starting. One of the big 7 is practically guaranteed to bite the big one.

I just picked it up today.

Batman's line to Superman:

"you haven't been inspiring since you died."

😆 Oh what a ***** splap.

Basically referring to the fact that nobody has really cared about Sups since the death/return saga.

and especially coming from Batman.

Mr. I'm the character that runs DC's buisness

No. He was saying Superman fails to inspire people to do things in the name of justice. He detracts himself from the limelight. Like Flash says: "Superman flys above people". He saves people and the world...but that's it. He doesn't use his influence to inspire and propagate the world to do better things. Like WW does.

Superman should say "When's the last time you actually solved a crime?"

Exactly.

Well, if you love Hawkeye, She-Hulk is going to try and bring him back. (I read She-Hulk 2 #1)

She got involved in some "time" trial with some sort of time law enforcement. "Clint Barton" was selected to be one of the jurors and She-Hulk is not allowed to alter time in any way but she is going to do it so that she can bring Hawkeye back to life.

Vision has also been rebuilt. (again 😛)

Normally i'm not a big fan of resurrections but the Hawkeye one is pretty creative lol. Plus he shouldn't have died in the first place.

Poor Ant man and Jack of Hearts..(Who cares right?) haha

If you look at the big picture it means both ways.

In the comic world it means what you said.

In the real world it means that the general public does not give a shit about supes and his continiuing story. Why do you think there is an anti-superman thread in the sup forums.

I don't buy that. Superman sure has a lot of haters but his books still sell among the best for DC every month. Only ones that sell better are Batman (only by a couple thousand), JLA, Superman/Batman, and Teen Titans. Of course, Superman is one of the main characters of JLA and Superman/Batman. It's certainly unfair to claim people don't care.

i totally get what bats is saying, cuz if you check the ratio superman is still adamant about his boy scoutism.....he has said time and time again that he doesnt want to do for humanity what they can do for them selves. most opertively in the " for tommorrow" arc where that priest asked him if he could cure his cancer, which supes replyed yes, but then everyone would want him to do the same for them too.

he as also said that if he goes out of his way to save everybody everywhere, not only would ppl look up to him as a god but they would also be reckless, and that what he's trying to avoid...i guess the latter makes sense, cuz if you look at Lois Lane for example, she's always putting herself in precarious death defying positions cuz she knows that if she's falling off a building, or staring down the barrels of high powered rifles, supes will be there to catch her, or for the fact that he got his ears tuned to the frequncy of her heartbeat. so manking would get lax and care free.

also his big thing is how much he has to go out of his way to show that democracy his the right way to do things, cuz he could easily smash all the bad govts. out there but he doesnt wat to be used as a weapon...all that is cool to an extent, but the one thing that always gets to me is the fact that it seems him and prof. xavier were separated at birth with thier lame and worn out mantra of "no one has the right to kill, no matter what.......there's always another way." that is so grade school take for example how mongul was threatening to drink from there skulls and put it on his mantle, he proceded to own all three of them with the intent to kill, yet when WW was gonna lay her sword on him supes grabbed the blade, and was went off on his lecture about how killing is wrong.

so thats what the bat is talking about, supes thinks that ppl are gonna see him do some good and thier hearts are just gonna be filled with inspiration and just run out into the streets by the thousand and start helping thier fellow man, and thats just juvenile to think thats ever gonna happen

If you want to buy all those IC related comics..I counted 206 but I could be wrong. Let's assume they are standard 2.99 price or 3.00 just for the sake of it.

That's $618 bucks for a completist. If you add the 52 series which is the result of IC (A weekly comic for uh..52 comics.) then it's $774.00.

If you do buy it all and feel like selling the lot though it'll probably go for a lot higher on Ebay.

thats what the summaries on DCcomics.com is for, i p[icked on some issues here and there but DCcomics.com gave you a summary on every comic that is related to the inifite crisis

Im almost certain that batman becomes the spectre before the end of IC.

i'm thinkin rayner gets the axe, they already brought back jordan so why not, but i am a bigger rayner fan than jordan so i hope that dont happen

Xavier has softened his "Thou shalt not kill." morality a bit. Superman should have just let WW do what she needed to do - instead he let Mongul get away.

I was thinking. THe person who MM met at the end of JLA#119 could NOT have been either earth 2 superman or earth prime superboy.

This is because in the timeline, the watchtower exploded BEFORE supes/bats/ww went to examine the remains of the base in ic#1, and that all happenned BEFORE the 4 COIE charachters escaped at the end of the issue. The only one i can imagine it can be now is supergirl.

Superman has ALOT of nerve to be judging. Did he forget the three Kryptonians he mercilessly killed when they were powerless and begging for mercy?

What issue was that?
