I was thinking. THe person who MM met at the end of JLA#119 could NOT have been either earth 2 superman or earth prime superboy. This is because in the timeline, the watchtower exploded BEFORE supes/bats/ww went to examine the remains of the base in ic#1, and that all happenned BEFORE the 4 COIE charachters escaped at the end of the issue. The only one i can imagine it can be now is supergirl.

I do find it strange that Cyborg hasn't popped up at all in villains united, or any of the tie in's to infinite crisis.
I wouldnt be surprised if it was him in 119 as he can easily look exactly like Superman and match is dna effortlessly.

In other news from the panel:
* DiDio said that "50 to 75 percent" of the DCU titles will have new creative teams after Infinite Crisis.
* 52, the tentatively titled weekly comic filling in the gap between Infinite Crisis and One Year Later, will launch in May, two weeks after the Infinite Crisis finale. Wayne said the price point for the series remains to be announced.
* Gail Simone will be busy at DC. "Not just in the DCU," Wayne said. "Gail has other things going on."
* DiDio said that Zero Hour will be addressed in Infinite Crisis, but Hypertime will not.
* Lobo will not be involved in Infinite Crisis, DiDio said.
* DiDio said the first issue of Infinite Crisis was meant "to give a sense of chaos and confusion."
* As for the future of Jason Todd, DiDio said, "More people are enjoying his return than are upset about his return. That Might tell you where we're going."
* The Batman Annual will feature the origin of the Red Hood and will tie into "A Death in the Family."
* Wayne said readers will be surprised at the number of upcoming soliciations that will be accompanied with the phrase "final issue." DiDio said it's "a pruning" of the line.
* DiDio said that Ted Kord will remain dead. "He has too much merit," DiDio said. "If you do something that matters (in a story), it makes it hard to go back.
"If you see a body, they're dead. And if you see blood, they're very dead."
* Jim Corrigan and the Spectre? "They make a lovely couple," DiDio said.
* DiDio said Manhunter is not in danger of being canceled.

They'll probably cut some Batman titles which is needed. Adventures of Superman is gone for sure. Aquaman, Hawkman, Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing, Firestorm and Catwoman are getting the axe for sure.

So it could only be either cyborg or superman (still mind-controlled).
The others would have been recognised by MM, and the new versions of earth2supes and earthPrimeSuperboy both were released AFTER the watchtower exploded
Originally posted by eleveninchesNo, Superman came and found the watchtower destroyed in his own comic. He was off doing other shit.

Okay, I read it yesterday. And some upsides and downsides. First of all I hate the way Batman is illustrated in the story. Yes, I understand that he has to be like this in order to fit into the story. But I just don't like it.
Second, when Batsy made that comment to Supes about "inspired since death". Superman shoulda ask Batman this, "Hey Batman how's your back doing?" That would have made Batman snap into a rage of tantrums.
The only thing that disturbing me in the whole issue was the death of The Human bomb. Now, I really hate Bizarro for such cruelty. Phatom lady had tough death but she died fast.
Also, I agree with Wuta. Kyle Ryner needs to die...period. Hal is back and he's the real deal. At least Kyle should go out with a BANG! And maybe revive him or clone him somewhere in the future. Maybe when Hal retires.
In the mean time keep reading the crisis.....
Eh. Thing is I grew up with Kyle as a Green Lantern. Much like most people here grew up with Wally West as the Flash. And most people are clamoring for his return.
Why does Kyle have to die? Does there have to be only ONE Green Lantern? By your logic, Guy Gardner, John Stewart and every other guy who calls themselves a Green Lantern must die because Hal is the "real deal". You have to remember Green Lanterns are like cops. They're an army. Thus Kyle doesn't need to die because he's a soldier in an army just like John Stewart and Kilowag.
