This is a good example of how Supes is different from his fellow heroes.

Waverider needs to be saved from Monarchs kills blast, Captain Atam gets no sold and one shot then

Then to make matters worse he says he held back

Fight takes place on Earth 2

They're very small. How can I fix this?

By telling everyone to start using Turbo Host.

Byrne superman survives being forced to go a billion lightyears through his own hyperspeed in a very short amount of time by overlord technology.

At the time he only had one hour of air in his lungs, and he was still alive after that so it must've taken less than an hour to go one billion lightyears

Although that journey took its toll on him but it was just a shock.

Some info on the feat in the Superman:earth stealers.

First the earth and moon were not hold by any gravity-nullifying beam, they were just grabbed by an energy net which was bigger than entire earth-moon system

According to superman it must've been made by all the resources of a whole star system

Check out its size

http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k508/abhilegend/Superman/sup_tes__0012.jpg

This happened the first time superman went through hyper-space, he was almost drained of all his strength

http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k508/abhilegend/Superman/sup_tes__0017.jpg

Also when superman went to moving the ship, its engines were almost drained

http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k508/abhilegend/Superman/sup_tes__0041.jpg

Then superman went through hyperspace and restored both earth and moon to its places, the ship ONLY directed them

Its an insane feat any way you cut it.

At that point his kryptonian origin wasn't known even to superman.

This is why I would not do well in the DC universe.

Can't BELIEVE this didn't make it into this respect thread yet ...

5 day equivalent Earth press. Superman #13.

Because the comic hasn't come out yet, and we don't know the context behind it, if any.

Source: Superman #13, Volume 3
Writer: Scott Lobdell
Penciller: Kenneth Rockafort
Date: October 2012

Superman benchpressing an Earthweight equivalent is reminiscent of his pre-crisis days. But presented in a "modern, scientific" context lends an impressive sense of realism. The artwork is great, too, which helps.

However, while I may lapse in my knowledge of Byrne's Superman, I certainly know what benchpressing is, and the pictures make it look like Supes is closer to military-pressing the Earthweight: actually a more impressive feat, given military-pressing strength is about 2/3s benching strength.

Regardless, I wonder (as in All-Star Superman, when he's doing that 1-arm upward press in the high quintiton range): W.T.H. are the machines/floor/testing structures made of that they can withstand such force?? (Leftovers from those planet-towing chains?) And how is that material engineered for building the testing equipment??

All nitpicky, I know. 😈
Does DC have a primary-adamantium equivalent?

Yes. It's been broken a few issues ago, in the 31st century, by a Daxamite. 🙂

Did you try clicking on them?

Also in the first page of this thread, the black hole he is holding isn't a dust particle size, it's actually the size of a rock a bit bigger than a golf ball.

I was going by Atom's statement.

I don't believe that Mt. Everest weight you got is correct. You should check on that. But even if you were to say that Mt. Everest was exactly a billion tons that's still an impressive feat. (I believe it's somewhere in the billions of tons; I'm not sure what it is exactly though.)

For instance, if you do assume it's just a billion tons and multiply it by five hundred quadrillion. You get a large numeral of around 500 septillion tons for that black hole or 5e+26, which is what my calculator gave me.

The earth is assumed to weigh about 6 septillion tons. Here's a link for that.

NASA Earth Fact Sheet

Or, 5.9736^24. To be more exact. That black whole weighs over 83 times the earth itself at the very least. Depending on if that other information you have given me is correct, that is.

I was only able to find one other stat for Everest`s weight, and it was way way too low. I think going with the numbers I found is fair since Atom said it would destroy the solar system if released.

Forgot to add that Disciple had the powers of an Elder god at that point and the pain he felt when superman approached him was the pain of the elder gods because they couldn't stand beings from modern age.

So superman walked through an all out magical energy attack from an elder god.
