Superman vs. Hulk

Yeah but all the incarnations are more or less the same essence.

I didn't make up that star-system destroying sneeze. That actually took place in an early Superman comic. I don't know the issue because if I had a 1940s Superman comic I wouldn't be wasting my time talking on an internet message board, but the fact is he did it. The guy goes back in time for Christ's sake, you can't compare anyone to original Superman, I think everyone acknowledges that.

Again, current Superman and Hulk would be a better fight. Hulk is stronger, but Superman has more varied powers and is a better strategic fighter.

Hulk has done better. He became angry enough to smash a planet that was twice the size of earth into little pieces.

At peak strength, Superman is suppose to be able to move a planet the size of the earth (or the earth) from one side of the universe to the other.

This is stupid if Superman were to go all out and use every trick in the book he would win. He starts off way stronger, he is way way faster, he can fly and he more durable as seeing how he can survive nukes and the Hulk cant. If he really wanted he could do like cosmic Spidey and knock the Hulk into Space and the Hulk would be stuck and if yall need me to ill post the comic.

I would say superman, but he got killed by doomsday, who seems to be a hyper powered DC equivilent of the hulk

Doomsday would kick Hulk's ass.

And if memory suits me correctly...Hulk was the one that sent Superman flying into space.

I know. It was just an analogy, as I couldnt think of any other marvel character that was more of an equivilent character to doomsday

Hulk didn't even punch Superman. Superman tried to put him in a bear hug from behind and when Hulk broke free using PART of his strength...the result was Superman flying into the air...

I've never seen Superman do anything like putting someone the size of Hulk into space with a punch...but conceivably it could be done with his strength level.

Superman killed Doomsday though.....yet in a fair one on one fight today, with a much believable and to be fair, less ridiculous incarnation of Superman, Hulk could easily win the fight.

I believe Superman poses a bigger threat to Hulk than Doomsday. It's like saying Gladiator would whoop Superman.

I dunno about that the Superman in the Batman Superman series is pretty tough and the same for the one in Identity Crisis.

Not doubting that. But everyone seems to just be concentrating on how good the different incarnations of Superman are. Hulk's primary and most used incarnation could handle a bulk of the people in the comics universe I believe. That's saying alot.

I like both of these Character alot I feel that the battle can go either way, it all depends on the writer.

Superman could just use his laser vision to fry the Hulk's brain (through the beast's eyes)

Superman could do alot of things to beat Hulk but some people just say that it wont work or they dont think it will be good writing.

Believe me Emrald, in the past Supes/Hulk threads, there have been many people putting that technique to use against The Hulk too.

Hulk wins regardless, lasers are no new trick fot the hulk. The U.S, army alone has tried every available weapon they made (save a nuke, which hulk prolly could survive, He can leap into and out of orbit if he so pleased, cuz hes done both and survived unscratched.) Nothing stops the Hulk.....hulk smash

ok people when it truly comes down to this on ? whos power wood u rather have supermans or hulks be honest.If u say hulk try to look at the ways superman can beat hulk.Then try to look at the many ways hulk can bet superman ooooooh i forgot thers only one way MAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY be able to bet superman if he could catch him.
