But make no mistake, Superman is quite capable of attacking at superspeed. Writers don't have him do it often though, since like I said, it makes for very short and uniteresting stories.

you give hulk way to much credit. I rem a comic where savage hulk fought superman for three days.superman matched hulk punch for punch.the harder hulk hit superman the harder superman hit hulk.any way after the fight hulk body couldnt take the stress from three days of fighting.hulk have died was it not for Doc Samson.

When would Hulk have died without the Help of Doc Samson? Doc Samson is a PSYCHOLOGIST, not a Medical Doctor. You must be talking about the Marvel DC Crossover (a popularity contest,) which is the only time Superman and Hulk fought. And you are wrong about Superman going blow for blow against Hulk. He used his flight to his advantage. Crossovers are total bullshit anyway. Wolverine beat Lobo. That should make things pretty obvious.

He can and has, like I said, he doesn't do it regularly for the reasons I already stated.

Superman and Hulk have been in more than one crossover. They were in a comic together back in the the late 70's/early 80's, can't remember which, and Superman had an even easier time with Hulk in that one. He lets Hulk wail on him at the end and doesn't budge.

As I said before tron, Crossovers are irrelevant (they are popularity contests, readers vote for who will win). I noticed you didn't include the final page. Superman did not knock out Hulk out. He calmed him down. If he hadn't Hulk would have become stronger than Superman, and could have possibly won. Superman admits Hulk's strength throughout the comic. Mind you, this is pre-crisis Superman. Current day Superman is not nearly as invulnerable. One of Darksied's punches sent him through a wall in the Justic League Cartoon.

You have no valid arguement to prove that Superman is stronger than Hulk. I have admitted that Superman could possibly win, but Hulk is stronger. Tron, I don't hate superman, as my username suggests; he is a fictional character. I hate fanatical ignorance, and everywhere I look, I see threads about superman, and posts from fanboys suggesting that Superman would beat anyone. A perfect example is the Superman vs Silver Surfer thread. Surfer could detect and absorb Superman's energy rendering him powerless, but they insist that Superman would win. Unreasonable fanatic assumption. THAT is what I hate.

For the record, I respect your statements, as you will validly support your arguement. (I try to consistently do the same.) However I disagree with you on this topic.

Hulk has done things that Superman hasn't done. He has lifted heavier things than Superman has.
