Hulk does have a ton of raw strength, and I do believe that (given the variability of it) it's enough to harm Superman. If Superman wanted to be cheap, though, he could space bombard with heat vision, use freeze breath, etc. If the Hulk can keep Supes down and guessing, then yeah, I think the Hulk can take him.
Doomsday jumped fast, like the Hulk. Nothing more.
Gladiator was moving much faster than Hulk when they fought, though he was certainly not exercising his full speed. Hulk has ways of coping with superspeed. His accuracy is deadly, and he can jump with enough speed, force, and velocity to achieve escape velocity.
Freeze breath nor heat vision will really help in this fight. Hulk has withstood heats greater than stars (h-bombs, gamma bombs.) Superman's heat vision is only a couple thousand degrees. Hulk has withstood temperatures as low as -200 degrees Celcius without freezing. The only way out for Superman is a flat out fight. But, I doubt he'd stay on the ground and go blow for blow with Hulk, since he's faster and he can fly. If he knows anything about Hulk, he won't let him land too many punches.
Eh. My question is, how much has Supes improved since Doomsday? Basically, Doomsday was Hulk with claws. If Superman has learned his lesson, he can win. If he hasn't, it's a tie.
I notice you guys keep saying "He withstands X level of heat, this is Y lower level of heat." That's not really relevant. If I was boxing someone as good as me, roughly, but they started out by hitting me with pebbles or rubber bands, yeah, that alone wouldn't do that much to me, but in context of the fight it could be really important.
Superman is the ultimate super hero. No one can defeat him. Doomsday was the only one to fell Superman but he fell to. But when they both came back, Superman was stronger than ever and Doomsday just developed vocabulary thats all. Superman is better than any super hero in any comic book at everything. His beam is more potent than cyclops' he's faster than the Flash, he's stronger than hulk and Juggernaut combined, his ice blast is colder than ice man and the list just keeps going on going. 😠

Okay - you're not helping Supes' cause making statements like that - a lot of people think he's overpowered already.
He's NOT faster than the flash, and the Hulk has the potential to become stronger. He can't freeze things better than Iceman.
BUT - he does have a good fraction of all of those characters' powers.
He IS nearly as fast as Flash. He starts off much stronger than the Hulk. And he's very very durable - though not as much so as Jugs.
His MINOR powers, like heat beams and freeze breath are of no consequence to the Hulk. I'm not saying they're not fantastic powers, but the Hulk has taken hits from tank-busting missiles and got right back up. When Supes needs to blow something up with laser vision, he has to concentrate and focus his beams - Hulk won't stand still and let him.
Supes has a very very good chance of pulling this fight off - unless the writers were stupid... *cough* Doomsday *cough* He definitely has the power for the job - he's strong enough to hurt Hulk, quick enough to deliver the punches and tough enough to not go down quickly. Whether the writers would let him win is another story, but looking at it logically, he has the potential to do it.
Zep you nuts. Superman and the Flash had a race. And Superman beat him. The Flash was running with all his might sweating and Superman was just ahead of him, mocking him, laying back flying backwards with both hands behind his head while smiling. Im serious and it was a Flash comic too. And Superman can lift more tons than the Hulk can so.
What? Supes and Flash have raced three times. Once was cancelled. The other two times, Flash won. Supes can run at about 30,000miles per hour, fly at 60,000 miles per hour. Flash RUNS at 186,000 miles per SECOND! Even in deep space with no friction or gravity, Supes can't reach the speed of light!
Don't get me wrong dude - I love Supes, he rocks. But Post-Crisis Supes is too powered down now to make outrageous comments about him being unbeatable.
