Know who else has dynamic 'I can be as strong as the battle calls for' strength? Lobo.

IN COMIC-BOOKS there is no gravity in space=less flying resrictions...don't dodge me i know light is faster...but in a burning building if a Super-Sonic guy tried to do the same as the Light-speed guy in the flash comic universe could he?
I didn't dodge your question. I answered it. They both could, but the Light speed guy would do it faster than the sound speed guy.
And in comics, there IS gravity in space. Please don't dodge the question, how old are you?
age? thats childishly low...i hear you...Super-sonic does the same things...it matters not how slow he is...there is a line between Super-sonic and light-speed...and on a side note Planets and suns have gravity thats true...but in DC UNIVERSE not so much for space or suns...blackholes are pointless feats really...science needs more study on them...
Not low, I do like to place debaters within their proper context.
And yes, it does matter how slow he is. Two guys do something, one guy will be much much faster than the other guy. Its not a deadlift competition, where we see who is stronger, but a forum fight.
Let's take reading a book. Character A reads it at light speed, B at sound speed. Yes, the book is read, at the end of the day, but A finished the book much much faster than B.
Now replace 'reading a book' with 'throwing a punch'.
And yes, DCU has gravity in space.
And yes, there is a line between supersonic and lightspeed. And the difference is astronomical.

No, you're right. This was the start of the Kryptonite X arc, where the green K gas that was filtered through Eradicator and repowered Superman after his rebirth caused him to absorb more solar energy then he could burn off. The first signs were being able to breath indefinitely in space, and a slight durability and strength increase, but nothing exponential (As the story progressed, he'd reach a point where just by touching Bizarro, he'd send him flying as if he hit him with his best punch, and his muscles would swell up like Hulk..)
Eventually, Parasite absorbs most of his excess energy, but according to a letter column he remains about as amped as he was in the Lobo fight, and this is supported by the fact Superman always needed a breathing mask in space, and even almost drowned when visiting Aquaman once, but no longer needed a breathing apparatus post Kryptonite X story.
But even if this wasn't the case, we're talking about a fight that happened in 1994.. Since then, he's accumulated more then enough feats to prove he can knock Lobo into orbit under his base power levels.

reading a book isn't like throwing a punch...if you read a book really fast in a rushing manner how much would you remember? perhaps you'd look at the index and short-cut your way to what your looking for...its quite possible...
Superman remembers everything he reads, and he understands it. Even at the speeds he reads.
So, in this example, yes, it is. You have to remember that no shortcuts are being taken, and you remember everything.

it doesn't really, unless he can thunderclap hard enough in the opposite direction. then again, that's not durability.

No, Superman read everything and remembered everything. He has an eidetic memory.

Well, then I apologise. I shall try and not do so in future.
But back to the topic, Superman is much much faster than Hulk. Before he can even perceive Superman, he' been punched into the atmosphere or grabbed by the foot and thrown.

Well, there are two ways the Hulk could stop himself flying off into space from an uppercut, which is how I think carver is thinking about it.
1. He has some Mr Fantastic/Plastic Man stretchiness, so punches get absorbed. This is obviously nonsense.
2. He braces against it, and at the point of impact, pushes back with enough force to cancel out the force of Superman's punch. This involves Hulk having the reaction speeds to deal with it, which I don't see him having.
Nothing to do with durability.
Reading books isn't all about memory...imagination takes time...and medical books share information...he's just looking for something specific...what did he learn in a book he didn't already know? he's trying to cure cancer...he must already have experince...he's been on earth long enough to read the important books in his spare-time...he could of been just making sure his thoughts didn't deceive him...

....You're making stuff up, and trying to cast doubt when there is none.

Lobo's pretty much always been a super brick. 😉
About two years before that fight, Lobo was trading blows with a Despero and casually punted Superman into Colu's orbit, right in the rear. And he was even moving around in space without his bike, so the toon force was in full effect. 😎
But Lobo's toughness usually comes from immunity to pain, and an insane healing factor. Lobo can still be sent flying by punches or other means, as this later fight proves:
This is also a good example of how flight and maneuverability are an advantage over a bricky, less maneuverable character, like Hulk is.
