How does his durability help against being uppercut into space?

I want to see your knowledge of reality, and physics....

Reading books isn't all about memory...imagination takes time...and medical books share information...he's just looking for something specific...what did he learn in a book he didn't already know? he's trying to cure cancer...he must already have experince...he's been on earth long enough to read the important books in his spare-time...he could of been just making sure his thoughts didn't deceive him...

why are you assuming he was lying?

How many times out of 10/10 will Superman try the uppercut out of space thing?

darksaint i said more about the book reading on the previous page...and have you found the “line” between Super-sonic vs Light-speed on earth while on foot?

Depends.

Are you allowing him to show his intelligence, or hampering it by PIS?

Are you allowing him basic knowledge of the Hulk, as per forum rules?

If yes to both, then 10/10. 😈

Probably 5. The other 5 he'll just throw him.

What do you mean by the line? Elaborate, please. I'm slow today.

Lobo's pretty much always been a super brick.
Lobo's been a superbrick. He wasn't DC's premier superbrick by a long shot back then.

About two years before that fight, Lobo was trading blows with a Despero and casually punted Superman into Colu's orbit, right in the rear. And he was even moving around in space without his bike, so the toon force was in full effect.
He also stalemated Guy Gardner right before that Despero fight. And in a later issue, Lobo actually admitted defeat at Guy's hands (despite the actual issue not really showing so).

But Lobo's toughness usually comes from immunity to pain, and an insane healing factor. Lobo can still be sent flying by punches or other means, as this later fight proves:

This is also a good example of how flight and maneuverability are an advantage over a bricky, less maneuverable character, like Hulk is.

I don't doubt that flight and maneuverability are advantages. I just don't see the evidentiary value (or point) in posting a scan of an amped Superman uppercutting Lobo into orbit.

If I didn't know any better, I'd surmise that this was a sneaky attempt to tie back all the discredit and flak that an outnumbered Thor got for BFRing an amped Hulk into space in Fear Itself because supposedly "that's the only way he could beat him now cuz he can't win straight-up."

Do you know what "fight in character" mean?

Yes, he does. You just ignore it when it comes to Superman.

if you'd find the line it will make sense...in the mean time i will ask an unimportant question to you darksaint...do i get on your nerves? was it because of the train? or is it because i like to downplay certain aspects of superman? its probaly the second-one...you think i am dum...this is not true...i just don't think that highly of Superman's certain abilitys when he comes from a loony history...i do have DC comics not alot mind you but even then...i try to view things from a writers stand-point...

Good thing you DO know better then.

I'm using BFR because I thought that it would be the quickest, least problematic way of debating. Superman is faster, he knows the Hulk gets stronger the madder he gets, he's no dolt, so he would chuck him or throw him away.

The writers are the ones making him as powerful as he is, though.

Yup. It means when Superman fights a guy who gets stronger the longer the fight goes on, he targets him first, and BFRs him.

Not....really. A bit, I will admit, but its all good fun.

What line am I supposed to find? As in, how much faster light is than sound? Or what?

You're wrong, bro. It means Superman will use the forbidden technique of face to fist.

Superman bfr'ing Hulk is rediculous by throwing...Hulk will foot stomp and come down...and if hulk is near earth atmosphere he could thunderclap his way down or to the moon...which he will jump back to earth too...if not a thunderclap...his own Super-breath can do it just as well...
