It lowered your average Kryptonian's stock even more.

No wonder everyone kept saying Daxamites are > Superman, going by how weak most Kryptonians seemed. Daxamites actually make Superman work at beating them down. 💃

Yep, sadly.

"World of New Krypton" ... lowered Superman's stock considerably ...

... part of the reason why his reboot was so welcomed.

I'm curious now ... what, if anything, did DC say actually HAPPENED to everyone before the time of this last reboot? Are they all dead? Did everything get wiped out of existence? Did the Anti-Monitor eventually come back and win?

Or is everything DCnU happening in some parallel reality?
Is there a way to bridge the gap between the world of "New Earth" Superman and present DCnU Superman, if so?
What does DC say actually happened to these people?

I haven't read Flashpoint, so I really don't know.

You'd have to ask someone who did.

No idea, I don't think they've said what happened to everyone.

It doesn't help that a bunch of stuff remained canon either.

Man, P.R. ... couldn't you have let that "WBH versus Heralds thread" stay open for ONE hour ... ? 🙁

I wanted to at least give your answer to this, given its relevance to THIS particular thread:

1) Superman gave Konvikt a free shot.
2) Konvikt stunned him; he didn't put him down.

Doesn't really apply in this situation.

😕

1) How does that contradict anything I said, and

2) How do you get any MORE down than the following?

You do recall that Wonder Woman herself stepped in to buy the time he needed to recover his senses after this, yes?

I did read the issues. And have argued them extensively.

The writer said Superman was stunned. That follows seeing as in the comic, Wonder Woman had barely gotten a punch in before Superman had recovered.

Superman against Konvikt is an exception, not the rule.

The Superman and Konvikt fight was one of the best showings that yr imo. Konvikt became one of my faves when I read that comic. The JLA couldn't handle him.

We know why you loved it so much, Carver.

Yes, it was a nice showing for Konvikt.

I didn't love the character because of the punch...when Superman woke up, he gave Konvikt a hell of a fight afterwards, even when Konvikt changed to his second form. I just liked the destruction he caused and how he manhandled the JLA without getting a scratch. Both Supes and Wondy did good against him in the end.

lol "woke up".

Even your compliments are laced with back-handed remarks.

hmmm

His eyes was closed...when they opened back up (because he "was" sleep), thats when he woke up. It wasn't a long sleep...let's just call it a 'power nap'.

Or a bold-faced lie on your part.

You've never blinked before, Carver? Sneezed?

We've done this before carver. It doesn't end pretty for you. shrug

Lol...ok, I'm done.

Yea, after Konvikt punched Supe's life out of his body he was lying on the ground sneezing, Carver.

Don't be a dummy.

The writer clearly said he was stunned. That should end it there. Someone can be stunned with their eyes closed.

Hmmm Nuul had his eyes closed.....

Can't say for sure since it was pitch black where he was and his face was darkened.
