Superman is almost strategic enough to avoid a grab attempt instead of letting pride get in the way and grappling hand-to-hand.
He is strong enough to grit out a verbal retort while being otherwise bearhugged into submission, too.
Finally, Superman has enough sense to bring friends with him to any serious fight, and they are wont to help him out anytime he is in trouble.
Superman wins.

I might thing Carter here has some laughable opinions, but he's decent enough to admit when he's wrong, that counts in my book. For Quan I know he's mostly playing to ignite the frustration of others, but still he rarely even tries a real argument anymore.

You see what you did there is make the Hulk battle the way that you would, or believe that he does. This is incorrect, and you should read more comics where the Hulk fights in several different ways. He does wrestle, but he has thrown knees, punches,thunderous claps used to box his opponents ears, and several other non grappling type moves. We have already determined that the Hulk possesses super speed, this isn't some slow lethargic character here.

I have no clue what his best are. I'm not trying to use his best feats as what he will do in this fight. We all know Superman is faster than light and Hulk is as fast as a bullet maximum. But using just 10% of their top speed here (which is more than fair) then Superman is still vastly faster. Superman can move 5ft before Hulk moves 1in. This is a fact.
Knowing Superman's highest feats ever doesn't change that fact.
even if the suited hulks base strength (not enraged), is anywhere comparable to supermans. Superman is still (much) faster, and smarter and has more versatility in terms of power. Having said that even if hulk the hulk is to survive long enough to amp up the best he could hope for is fighting superman to a stalemate.
