SpellJammer doesn't think debates are meant to "find the truth", just "have fun arguing". Maybe there are REAL mature debates out there, where people actually respect one another and say insightful, things with actual value and meaning. But so far SpellJammer has only seen two types of debates here at kmc. One's that degenerate into ten year old boy "uh hunh-nunh unh!" arguments, and vicous dogpiles or bullying over an opinion..
In end end, who cares when it comes to stupid video game characters. It's not like if it's established Buu can beats Supes society is going to crumble, nor will the economy boost if infact Superman wins..

He's basically saying that he gave up and let someone win in a debate (Which is the definition of what we do... online debating is classified as a competition based on evidence, persuasion and eventually winning) but in the same breath saying there is no such thing as winning... so.... you may take it as a win, although it isn't.
Seriously, Bardock's communication skills are lacking, as is his rational judgment. He's basically saying "Go ahead and have your victory, I deny it to you based on my own ideals."

Online Debating is not a competition..where did you get this from.......are here any judges? Do you get points? And are we looking for the truth or who debates better? I'd say the Truth so it's obviously not a Competetive debate.
