Hes only fighting 10 peeps (I believe)... quite a few of them are not really that hard to beat... a few of the more interesting chars might pose a challenge... I'm reading the bio's of them now...
Still no one has said if hes fighting them sequentially or all together...

I debated that MC wasn't going to loose as bad as you say... and to see what others thought... no one even said if they were fighting 1 on 1 or all on 1...
If its 1 on 1 I think theres only 3/4 who would be a challenge...

Well considering the chief can roll tanks over with ease, I'd still say he has a fair chance.
I'd have to say that Master Chief would probably beat most, if not all of the human fighters, and that's only if he took them on one after another. (that is to say the whole soul calibur team would kill him pretty fast if they worked together) Let's look at the evidence...
1) guns are better than swords (range means you don't have to be close to your opponent to kill them, and since most, if not all, of the fighters in soul calibur focus on close combat, that makes sense to me)
2) in soul calibur, despite the player's abilities, all of the characters have an even potential for fighting(if they weren't equal the game wouldn't be fair) that means IN GAME master chief is equal. Taken out of the game, given his full arsenal of weapons, he'd probably kill most of the human fighters without and harm to himself. As for the soul calibur fighters' "magical powers" in their weapons/skills, some would say that they could simply dodge Master Chief's bullets. However, the soul calibur characters beat each other down in the game, which means that some of them can't even dodge a sword/axe/hammer. So with this in mind they obviously couldn't dodge bullets.
overall I think it'd be a close match(one on one), but master chief would win against human fighters, and possibly(but not likely) the non-human fighters.
