Well, it's appropiate if God holds a more masculine then femmenine quality. Though we have no basis to go by then what pastors and The Bible says about God's "personality"..
I don't see your point.

Pastors? gimme a rest.

And the Bible is written in the way to be understood by the people in the ancient ages. and it is the only reason why God is reffered as a he there.

btw. as far as I know, the Holly Ghost in the original langueage had a female-gender 😖mart:
so the Holy Trinity has all {lacks words cry} inside.

God is neither male or female, just as qualites perceived that way...The Bible has it written in the beginning of proverbs that "Wisdom" is a she...Hmmmmmm....and everyone should listen to her...

And Goddess worship was going on for a long time, till the Bible writters changed everything that had to do with goddess symbols to evil symbols.

I changed my mind, no.

Well, then again, maybe.

Then again, god is a lesbian back woman. I really liked that thread.

BTW Capt_Fantastic, you are on the right path. I like to make fun of these types of threads because they are so silly. To hang a penis or vegina on God is stupid.
😄

🙄 cool your going to make fun of this thread 🙄 you must be a genius 😕

Why?

And why was it in Europe white cats were considered evil, though in America it was the black cat that was considered evil?
What's so evil about the cat for starters.....

And for that matter what is evil about the snake....???

😑 since when are white cats considered evil in europe?
if I live in Europe..and I've been always thinking I do
it was always about BLACK cat brining bad luck if it corsses your way 😕

Sorry, I only had so many words and I was near the end.

If one were a devout believer of the Holy Bible, (and other religious texts), it would be prudent to believe God a "Male", seeing as he crafted "Adam" from his own image.

But technically speaking, if there is a God, I'd believe It to be sexless.

Goddesses associated with cats are Mafdet, Sekmet, Bast (Egyptian), Bubatis (Greek) , Freya (Norse), Shasti (Hindu), Anu ( Irish), Brighid (Celtic)

This association of cats with the "divine" specially in old gods, has continued into the present day. But as with many things the Christian church inverted the old ways to make way for the new. So the names of the gods and goddesses, and ones associated with cats became the demons of the Christian hell...not losing their divine status, only their benevolence...and their worshippers were not simple pagans any more, but followers of Satan and witches...

The black cat is a symbol of good in England, for the America it means bad luck...The difference reflects the historical view...In the UK it is based on Celtic tradition, while the American view is based on Christian beliefs...Fables of unnatural white creatures abound in Wales and England. Arthur followed the white deer to the magical well. Thus animals of former pagan reverence, those that were white, bod ill in the UK...When the superstition was transplanted to the States, it was Christianized in such a way that BLACK presaged death and evil...Now, certainly black is more a prevalent view then the former white...

I think Male because a female even someone like Princess Diana would find the responsibility of being an omnipotent being daunting. Women do not get top management jobs!

lol..On a serious note...if you go by the bible it states..

Then God said, Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Gen.1:26-27).

Notice how God first refers to the creation of human life as man
and then states that both male and female were created in his own image.

The Bible then goes on to state....

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. (Gen.2:21-23).

Having been formed from the "rib" of a man..Eve herself now represents part of this being known as "man."
Adam validates this by the statement.

This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman..because she was taken out of man

(taken from a man's "womb" so to speak)

So technically speaking..a woman is just a type of "man." God..is not a being of the flesh, but of spirit. He probably is very similar to both genders from a "spiritual" standpoint. Possessing the "spiritual" characteristics that embody both males and females. The description of God's majesty is generally likened to that of a man, and as demonstrated above..we generally refer to God as "male"(ie he/him/etc) to simplify our understanding of him. Still this does not mean that God in any sense need be limited in description by the constraints of this physical world.

its a she and as soon as i get my wings back so i can get off this ****ing rock im gonna nail 'er

Karma is not good or bad. Cause and effect (karma) are just simplicity. What is good for one person may be bad of another. If I step on a bug with no evil intent, it is the bug's karma to be stepped on. 😆
