Cmaster, there are many of woman who has been treated right to only screw over their man. Reading your earlier passages, I can see you're looking for fairness-just like me...like ALL men. My point, however, is that although I personally feel women get what they deserve when they're being a *****-wrong, right, ugly, evil or indifferent, a man should never simply touch one, if provoked to do so. I'm not speaking of course about the guy that's an ******* who merely beats his wife/girlfriend to retain or regain control. That is sick. And, if the women can't leave then there's the part of me that says she's an idiot and deserves SOME of that abuse if she doesn't know any better. If a man is a "man"...just ignore them, turn around and leave them forever. That's worse punishment than giving one a physical beating. Let the next man inherit her psychosis.

have the ability to use all abusive means, and many do. to think they are some insignificant minority is wishful bullshit.
anyway, this chart looks like something that would be handed out to abused women, not something taught as scripture. in such a case, its appropriate to
refer to "she" as the victim, because the "she" that reads it IS the victim.
also, physically abusive relationships usually start out as emotional/psychological abuse. the abuser will see what he/she can get away with and keep pushing the line, many times into the realm of physical abuse. so, in such a case, its important for an abused woman to see the pattern, so that she can know for any future relationship. realistically, any man who would go to an abuse semenar would fear being labeled a pussy, so there really isnt a demand for a mens version of such a chart.

Exactly. I was formerly in an abusive relationship. He cut me off from everyone by making me feel like shit, like I needed him. He made me dependent on him for everything. He started the pinching and pushing and pulling. It took him almost backhanding me to realize that he was abusing me. He was also on steriods, which made him unstable, and he was much much bigger than me. At 5'3" and 100 pounds, I was honestly afraid of him. I was also getting sick, which ended up a bad, bad case of mono. So I dropped down to 93 pounds, and started having kidney failures, and he continued to cut me off from everyone I knew at my most vulnerable time. It was my then ex-boyfriend, who is now my fiance, who helped me get away from that. Without his support I wouldnt have had the strength to leave.

Again I sympathize with any woman who may have gone through domestic abuse, however, this does not negate the fact that both men and women suffer similar effects in relationships involving abuse. Despite the fact that women are generally physically weaker then men, they still are very capable of acting violently and abusing their domestic partners, and are just as liable as men for the abuse when it occurs.

Whobdamandog, the problem is women are not held liably like men are involving disputes between "squabling" partners.

I'd say women are actually MORE capable of verbal and mental abuse then men. For evidence of this be in the same room as a girl PMSing, they can be downright cruel and they are often very wiley when it comes to their use of verbal put downs and such.
