Anna Benson for Wonder Woman movie

Robin Hyden is 5'7. That's good enough for me.

A few photos from her in another movie.

They should cancel any plans for this film. Nothing they say will convince me that Wonder Woman will be a good film without the main character actually being 5ft. 10inches tall. Putting some chick thats 5ft.2 to 5ft. 7 in high heels will make a flop of a film.

They managed to make a 6'3 Hugh Jackman seem the same height or a little less, than his 5'11 co-star James Marsden in X-Men. The did it when he was with a few characters. Subtlety in camera angles can give extra height or diminish it. It's not as big a deal as you think.

Just look at Ahnold and Stallone for proof of that. (They aren't as large in real life)

It is a very big deal. When comic books are made into live action films, people should read the comic books and follow what they are saying. No amount of cut aways or high heels will convince me that Wonder Woman will be a success. Remember Elektra. Remember Catwoman. Daredevil. Superman Returns. Nobody bothered to read or follow any comic books about those characters. That is why they were box office duds and disasters.

You're confusing height issues with several movies that were crap to begin with. Has nothing to do with the characters, if a bad movie is just a bad movie.
But who knows what the public is willing to embrace on any given day. Fantastic Four got scathing reviews but was a suprise hit, and that sequel hits in a few months. Ghost Rider has gotten terrible reviews (including from me), but it was the biggest opening weekend of any Nicolas Cage film ever. Go figure.
In the end, no one knows what will work for an audience. It's what William Goldman says about Hollywood - "Nobody knows anything."

Back to height and casting - am I to believe then you sat through all of the LOTR films, utterly unconvinced by the camera tricks that made those actors seem like small hobbits?

You aere very confusing. Height issues must be resolved. Especially for Wonder Woman. People are going to care that this actress that plays her must be at least 5ft. 10in tall. I don't see people going to see this film and knowing that the actress is very short. Also what about the story? I hope their is a good story and some horrible crap that was thrown together. I don't worry what critics say. I know a lot of people agree with me when I talk about Wonder Woman. That is exactly why the film is having such a hard time being made. Putting high heel on a short actress will not work. Camera trickaration will not work.

It is idiotic to say people will exclaim in a theatre "Hey! That actress is only 5'7, not 5'10!" No one is going to tell the difference.
Growing up, I never noticed Sly Stallone was only 5'7. They disguised that pretty well. Get over your height issues - so long as she isn't a tiny waif, a few inches aren't going to make a difference.

- Reading your posts, I wonder if English is your first language. Is it? Or are you 9 years old?

I speak perfect english. I take it you are not a comic book fan. I take iy you have never read any WW comic books. I do. I take it you never saw the Lynda Carter Tv series. Lynda Carter is 5ft. 10. Having someone that is short or 5ft. 8 absolutely will not work. No one is going to buy that. That is why Joss Whedon left.

I actually watched the WW series with Lynda Carter on Friday nights as a kid - when it was new. I remember both WW and the Hulk being on Friday nights. And I watched the Shazam! live-action TV series on Saturday morning. I would guess I've been involved in comics twice as long as you have been.

The movie is called Maximum Thrust; some countries just Thrust. Kind of a take off of The Fast And The Furious.
Actually, from what I've read, the film is more softcore porn than racing. I believe Playboy Video released it. (And I'm currently trying to rent it. 😄 )

How about Ana Hickmann? How about Kristanna Loken?

Do you think she can be Wonder Woman?

With dark hair, sure. It was seeing her with red hair in Bloodrayne that made me think of her. Others think she would work better playing Artemis, Diana's nemesis.

What about Ana Hickmann? What about any 6ft. tall models with body?
