No. That is probably why WB is having such a hard time putting Wonder Woman together and bringing it to the big scren.

What about Anne Hathaway (Devil Wears Prada) for the role of Diana? Shes a good choice.

She's hot but too short.

Currently, I'm really liking the idea of Megan Fox for WW. She certainly is looking good in TRANSFORMERS. 👆

Oh, the height thing again. Megan Fox is 5'6, with a long frame. Are people aware that Lynda Carter was only 5'9? Not like it hurt her doing the role.
I can understand not casting someone as small as Natalie Portman, but just a few inches off? People won't notice. We accepted Hugh Jackman as a taller Wolverine, didn't we?

Actually Lynda Carter was 5ft. 10. People will notice, especially those who read the WW comics. Hugh as Howlett is very different, He can be accepted as a taller Wolverine in the movies because he made the role his own. However in the case of Diana Prince hiring someone to portray her must be someone like Lynda Carter who is 5ft. 10 and thus very acceptable. People are wondering why the Wonder Woman movie is still in developmental hell, one reason is the current script stinks to high heaven, another reason is the budget is probably very high and it should be rather cheap and three is finding an actress that fits the Wonder Woman mold. I have yet to see that someone fitting the Wonder Woman mold.

Lynda Carter is listed as 5'9 in her www.imdb.com profile.
And the only reason I can think of that the movie hasn't happened yet, is because the studio is wary of throwing mega-millions towards a project with a female superhero as the lead character. Heck, Marvel has backed off their proposed Black Widow movie, because they think it will not make any money.

Actually IMDB is wrong. Secondly, The reason why Marvel didn't do a Black Widow film was because of budgetary concerns and also neither Kate Beckinsale or Rebecca Romijn-O'Connell chose not to do it.

😂 Both of your two sites have their info written EXACTLY the same. Someone wrote a generalized bio, then someone else copied and pasted it on another site. Lazzzyyy. Just one site, after all.
Lynda Carter herself has listed herself as 5'9; rounding off her height of 5'8 & a quarter, according to http://www.wonderland-site.com/index2.htm

That's the last word on the subject. 😄

Last word is right here. Why don't we just agree to disagree because all these sites say different things. Anyway, better question, Do you really think that the Wonder Woman movie will ever get made?

Eventually. DC needs material to compete with Marvel in the movie business; they can't keep Diana sitting on the back burner forever. She's a major player. The studios are probably thinking they need a famous actress for the role, rather than an unknown. To hedge their bets against the movie flopping. They'll trust an unknown male actor to play a superhero, but apparently not a female one.

Thats true. That could be why WB is thinking of putting her into the proposed Justice League movie. Of course that is a mistake in above itself.
