USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY STAR WARS GAME- Campaign intro and character creation

Does the device 'Claws' count as using both forearm spots?

Nah.

Hmph. So - it's a toss-up between Stim Packs and Mini-shield.

Stim packs sound cool, but then again... So do Mini-shields.

I'm making an Imperial Commander, by the way. If I don't get to be the person at the top who demands the death of piggies, at least I get to watch up close...

Oooh, cool- but what happened to the Gambler?

I dunno. Well;

I didn't really want a Gambler - too similar to Tanic (obviously nicer).

What I originally wanted was to play politics, but that's impossible now, so if I'm going to be a combat character, then I reckon it'd be best to be a good one... Also, I'm unclear on what the Rebel 'soldiers' will end up doing most of the time, and I think it'll probably be different to my vague hopes, so I don't want to risk it. 😉

Well, ok then, but it's a shame to not do what you want to do. Gamblers can actually be rather political, you know- they are very social, they just don't have the background Merits. But being a good talker is 9/10ths of Rebel diplomacy.

But they don't wield the clout that the Statesman does. It feels like I'm just creating Tanic, when I made my Gambler. Plus - I'm not sure how the Rebel dynamic will work - it sounds like it's going to need a lot more planning than the PT Dark Side!

*squishes the big bug* 😈

Yeah, Trickster, give me five. I'm a commander too! We squish piggies together! 😛

Ush has made me insecure about ditching the Gambler, now!!!!!

I'm uncertain again!

Make up your damn mind! 😂

What do you care more about -- playing politics, or not making Tanic's long-lost nephew? 😛

Shuddup! 😛

I'm just all confuddled - especially about what the rebels will actually be doing - surely it will mostly be social?

Why would you think that?

Well, it's not going to be battles - sabotage and spying, rustling up support amongst the Osokans, stuff like that.

Whereas whilst the Imperials are halted from invading, people like Commander and Squadron Leader won't have much to do...

Trick, the Alliance is an armed uprising against the Empire. There are going to be battles.

🙁 Still hard to decide...

Would you care to take a look at my characters, anyway? You being unbiased, and that.

Actually, people like the General and politician, are less active than a commander or a squadron guy. Commander's are more in action always, they don't give orders but they do action 😛.

But not if there's no action, and it's politics that is stopping the fighting...

Agent Provocateur

Lyle Crett
Lyle Crett was born on Culate Prime as part of a middle class trader family. At the age of fifteen, he informed on a much higher-ranking member of one of a visiting senatorial staff, who was trying to convince the senator’s personal secretary to join the Rebel Alliance. Although he had applied for the military before, with this new victory he easily got into a training academy, where it was discovered he worked better by himself or leading a network of people. Unofficially known as ‘The Emperor’s Ghost”, he reached ‘professional’ status when he headed up an investigation in his home system into an incident concerning the soon-to-be-Administrator Enarell and the psychic race on Rentern. He then became an anonymous celebrity when he uncovered the location of a web of smugglers operating from the outer rim. Since their arrest the Empire of Pity has moved in on their business, but they leave him well alone. He has a selective network of contacts on which he occasionally has reason to call, most of whom are members of the galaxy-spanning Empire of Pity, and so works as an efficient member of the intelligence service. Often he is called upon to work for one administrator or another, and reports directly to High Command.
