...I take it now would be a bad time to say that a 4 page character backstory is 8 pages below my normal character's backstory length? They aren't always very well written, but... It'd've been longer if I wasn't making up species information as I went along...

Most of the players here usually keep it to about two or three paragraphs. Except for Rex, he has the continuing stories of Glader Starkiller somewhere here on KMC. In this forum, somewhere down on the page there is a thread with the character's backgrounds. They'll give you a idea. They're more like synopses than actual stories. On the other hand I don't know that Ush ever set a size limit....
