Quite possibly the most mind blowing theory ever...

i KNOW this is stretching it too much, cuz do you realise that if this were true,a WHOLE NEW SAGA of TIME TRAVEL would come up?like,if rom were really dumbledore, then who was dumbledore when ron was first born, before the cycle of time travel started?etc, etc.

this ain't gonna happen in the last book,i'm telling youy,it's too big to be brought up all of a sudden.plus it's too damn philosophical, for this time travel question has been boggling minds for ages.that incident in PoA is waay too small to count.

and since when did Ron have Seeing abilities?he failed Divination!besides,he never got quidditch captain in the end.

Umm... the books aren't finished... there is one left still.

jawdrop omg, its too crazy, jk wouldn't do this to us, whould she??? jawdrop

No - it wont happen. I would just like to know how someone can say that the people who made theory havent done their homework.

im not saying that its true ..but there is another thing in common...DD has always had this certain fascination for Muggle stuff just like Arthur(just as the example of the socks and Molly if you read the theory) so it just hit me when i was reading again HFP and i read something in chapter 5 i think it is that he was in Slughorns bathroom and said something about muggle magazines and something else dont know just read that part...and i guess there is something like that 2 in book 1...but im still not sure

The main things that strike me are that Dumbledore also has red hair, and that Ron's eye color is never revealed.

Who knows, maybe JKR is trying to cover up what is possibly the biggest plot spoiler of the series.

Anyone familiar with Star Wars knows that George Lucas filmed the "I am your father" scene from The Empire Strikes Back with the actor saying "I killed your father" (or something else), and then later dubbed the actual line over it, in order to protect the secret.

I'm just saying, JKR could be trying to cover it up.

This is a really interesting theory, there are just sooo many coincidences between Ron and Albus.

my point exactly, there's only one book left, and i really think that unless JKR decides to wrtie a LOTR length epic,it ain't gonna happen,it's just too much to spring on the reader at the last minute.remember, there are already too many unresolved points in the books, the veil, harry's prophecy, etcetc.
it's a bit more of using commonsense to figure this out actually.the book would end up being a literary failure as a conclusion to the series!as it is,she's not getting any better *shrugs*

Grr - look, she has said that this is not the case. Ron is not Dumbledore for crying out loud!

it's not the plot or anything just...her writing style is,i don't know...not as engaging as it used to be.

It doesnt matter if shes already said it wont happem, i dont even care if she says that but this is a brilliant theory.

This is a stupid thought, but say perhaps that JKR was going to do this - then the theory appeared so shes now had to change it.

It was the editing process. It seems non-existent throught the HBP - maybe the publishers just decided to give her free rain.

so she isn't as good as i thought she was in the beginning then.she really was this non-engaging all the while,it was the editing which saved her!hah.

ah sorry.cynical moment.seriously though,i like her ideas but the way she puts it to the readers...ah well.i'm not much of a writer myself, who'm i to criticise the woman to made it big.heh.

She is a good writer of course; yet all writers have editors to keep there books in shape. Possibly because of her success the publishers gave her two much slack.

meh,still don't think she's a good writer.

sorry.her writing just doesn't do anything for me anymore.maybe i grew up,maybe i've learnt more about the skill of writing novels,i don't know.all i know is,now i read the books only coz i wanna know how the plot unfolds.

wow as much as you guys dont like the theory, I like it....just my fasincation with shockers.....i thought it was amusing and the evidence provided does seem to hold some truth....but since the lady said it wasnt so ima just go with that....

this theroy is way to advanced for an childs book... and varry impossible... if DD is ron but aged then y wouldent he jus take out the dark lord when he went to invite him to hogwarts.... i mean that would just b too outragiously wrong and twisted... kinda like the saw2 movie.

it doesnt matter if its going to happen or not (which it wont) but this is the most mind blwoing theory ive read on HP so far...

if you still see Harry Potter as a childs book well then weve got serious problems...it stopped being a childs book since i think book 4...and if he took out the dark lord when he went to invite him to hogwarts well it would be REALLY WEIRD that he just killed a kid in an orphanage! things have to pass for destiny to be fulfilled it could be tampered with but not extremely changed cause then history will change...
