Well, as I said earlier, they aren't actually shining, they are playing very well as a team against opponents with better ball skills but no sense of cohesion. The Portugal match shows that very well, their defeat by Poland shows in comparison what happens if they meet opposition that holds it together. If the USA stick to playing like that they will beat every opponent who likewise forgets that you need more than just eleven men on the field, and some star players, to win a football match.
