You views - you dislike gays. You have no actual reason to other then you own predjudice - this means you are a bigot. Just like her.

And yes people have a right to say what they want (though it goes to far) - she does, and so do we. Which means it is our right to define her, and you, as a bigot due to the fact you meet the criteria for such a labal. You have a baseless dislike for a group of people - bigot.

And this is a debate forum - if you and her can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen (and go off and have bigot babies or something.) She has presented her views which are - "Gay's are sick, it is wrong, they will burn in hell." Everyone else has presented reasons why that view is wrong. She refuses to listen just continuing to say "I am not a bigot. What I say is right, gays are bad. That doesn't make me a bigot just because gays belong in hell."

Um - it does. And it is our right to say as much. If she and you don't want to be called bigots bring something to the table to support your argument other then your own predjudice.

This forum has a new defence force. 😛

Homosexuality is a sinful lifestyle. Me saying that does not make me a bigot. I have met many homosexuals and have never discriminated against them because of their lifestyle. I treat them with respect and dignity despite disagreeing with their lifestyle. They are sinners, but so is every else. Homosexuality is sin, but so is lying and stealing. Therefore, I pray for homosexuals and hope that by seeing the love of God through me they may be brought to repentance.

If you' ll pray for sinners, is it alright if they think for you?

If people find that question offensive, perhaps they could stop and consider the fact that saying that "I' ll think for you" is no more offensive than a complete stranger presuming to tell them that they' ll pray for them. Perhaps they don' t need to be prayed for any more than someone else needs to have someone do their thinking for them.

There is no reason to be offended by anyone saying I will pray for you.I will pray for all the gay people in the world.Reather they know it or not.JM

You treat them with respect...but you support denying them rights?

You treat them with respect...but think that they can be changed?

You don't descriminate...yet you spew hate and bigotry?

Hmmm...I sense a contradiction.

You're enjoying your day
Everything's going your way
Then along comes Debbie Downer.

Always there to tell you 'bout gays in hell
The pope condemning or fascist radio hosts
You'll beg her to spare you, "Debbie, Please!"
But you can't stop Debbie Downer

hehe

That's very kind of you. I'd rather you just pray and keep your bigotry to yourself, then continue preaching "how disgusting" we homos are...thanks.

However, i doubt your prayers will make ANY difference. Homosexuals and Bisexuals have existed for thousands of years, and they will most likely exist until the end of humankind.

Yeah, like that little rant is going to solve anything. Not only will they continue to tear her a new one, but they will you as well. And if you don't care, then why open your face in the first place?

What hateful thing did I say? I didn't. I do not support the actions of homosexuals. Actions are what determine how we treat another person.

Marriage is not a right. If it was every person should have a shot at it, but relationships do not work out like that for everyone. If the Bill of Rights says that marriage is a right then I would say that it needs to be changed. Marriage is a privelege.

Respect and the belief that can be changed are not really related so I'm not sure why you grouped them together. I treat them with respect in that I am not cruel to them, I am polite, and I help them when they ask for it. I treat them as I would anyone else. That is respect. Me believing that they could change has nothing to do with it.
