homosexuality is called a sin that is sadly true, but you know what's funny is that the church breaks that rule too I mean when priest go around ****ing little boys I'd call that a sin and illegal, homosexuals are now being picked on becuase some damn book says that it's wrong.. urg pisses me off everytime I think about it, but yes homosexuality is considered a sin in the eyes of a church that is corrupt.
Yes, it is wrong to generalise in such a fashion, a misconception that insults a group of people who are doing nothing what so ever wrong. Plenty of heterosexual people commit acts of child abuse and so forth, but that doesn't ever seem to lead to people condemning straight people. Although there is something to be said for the Church to avoid throwing stone in glass houses.
And as to the whole living for Jesus thing, I have always wondered what happened to the people before Jesus? What happened to all the people who didn't know to repent before the Catholic faith popped up?

So since gluttony is a sin,does that me if a fat person repents, God will magicly make them skinny like he makes gay people straight?I think not.Will all fat people go to hell now because they didn't manage to lose weight?this couldn't apply to the gays and not apply to the overweight.
