Its unlikely he changed his sexuality. He may have stopped pursuing homosexual realationships, but he is likely the type who will destroy a heter marriage becuase he wasn't being true to himself.

I knew someone once who was gay but didn't think it was wrong, and he stopped the minute he found out it wasn't right in the bible 😖 so there is no excuses

Thanks for that totally pointless opinion.

I have a friend who is gay and found out it was wrong in the bible and didn't give a shit.

That's absolutely right.

New Jersey's Supreme Court ruled Wednesday that same-sex couples are entitled to the same rights as heterosexual couples.

But the court left it to the Legislature to determine whether the state will honor gay marriage or some other form of civil union.

Advocates on both sides of the issue believed the state posed the best chance for gay marriage to win approval since Massachusetts became the only state to do so in 2003 because the New Jersey Supreme Court has a history of extending civil rights protections.

Instead, the high court stopped short of fully approving gay marriage and gave lawmakers 180 days to rewrite marriage laws to either include gay couples or create new civil unions.

I believe his feelings were rather suppressed than "healed".

Christ, you guys are arguing with someone who says that 'being gay' is taught in school. She's "arguing" the point that it shouldn't be taught in school, when it's not taught in school!

Jane: "Hi Bobby! What classes did you sign up for this time around?"

Bobby: "Hey Jane. I signed up for AP physics, Vietnam History, third period study hall and Algebra 3. How about you?"

Jane: "Oh, I signed up for christian religions, beginners morality, home economics, and a beginners guide to homosexuality. I've been thinking about turning gay for some time now."

Bobby: "that's hot, can I watch?"

Um, F.Y.I.
I go to a catolic school, and it was a religon class assignment.
And the assignment was to figure out how many different races are gay, and why it should be stopped among all of them.
Because according to my teacher, who has been a nun for 26 years, says it's wrong to marry the same sex, and she thinks it should be banned.
No offense to anybody
😮

I think the Constitution is indisputably clear. "That all men are created equal, that they are endowed by theri Creator with certain inealiable rights among which are life liberty and the pursuit of happiness"

Marraige amendments have been tried before (see 63rd Congress, 1912 Miscongeniation Amendment), and ultimately discimination will always be overturned by the government. Just like miscongeniation (mixed-race marriage) laws before, the courts will strike down a system that bans homosexuals from receiving the same rights as heterosexuals.

Wow!
You're really smart

First off, I was referring to their arguments with Jackie. Second, if you call for the a ban on homosexuality, you must realize that homosexuals are offended. Third, I went to catholic school too. I naver heard anyone call for a ban on homosexuality. My world religions teacher had a gay son.

Sorry, my bad.
But your point is......?

You never heard a call for no gay marriage in a Catholic school?

Let me see if I understand your assignment. Your religion teach, a nun with 26 years of "experience" being a nun, gave you an assignment to find out how many members of a particular race are gay and why being gay is wrong and should be banned? (i.e. made illegal) This is an actual assignment given out by a teacher at a nationally accredited high school?

I don't see the point. Where does race come into play?

I mean, I can appreciate you think everyone should be treated equally, but what do you think about homosexuality? Where is your opinion, as opposed to what your teacher told you? And why would you not tell your teacher you had issues with such a ridiculous assignment?

no. Never. In fact, several years after I graduated, the school formed its first gay/straight allience. Several students came out. One of which took his boyfriend to the prom.

Wow.

Thats fine, but the United States is not a catholic government.

Religious people used the same argument, as I stated, agaist mixed-race marriages and desegregation.

They used the bible as proof and they said that it was not natural. They said god did not intend for it to be that way.

They were wrong then as they are now.

If homosexuals are denied the right to marry, or to have a civil union, they are denied rights under federal law. That is against what government stands for and, if you ask me, God treats all his childern equally and does not want discrimination.
