This is a confusing subject...But, according to the Bible, being Gay is a sin. But so is a lot of the things we do, as a matter of fact, most of the things we do. So, I don't think it's right to shun them for it. I just don't know...it seems like Christians should know this though, so maybe it's just a matter of gay people acting out on those desires. Someone told me that God would change them. So, I don't know, but, it's wrong to shun or abuse someone because your beliefs are different from someone else's.
