thas what it boils down to YOU. any other reasonable human would not go for the do or die routine but would study, and judge the material, looking at both the advantages and flaws of it and come to a conclusion. and since its a RELEGION and not a historical journal it HAS to be 100% correct to qualify as the true relegion. but since almost all organized relegions use static non flexible dogmas, NO one relegion can really be true because of the diversity in the world and people and situations. for a perfect relegion you need a perfect world, n we dont have a perfect world.

You are a triune being, soul, flesh and spirit. These three cannot be separated. If one offends, the others are affected. Just because philosophy creates a safe haven for man on earth and in his own psyhce, does not mean that he escapes the judgement of his true Creator.

There are up sides and down sides to every aspect of life...don't just limit it to religion. Any reasonable person? Who says that believing in something with no consequences behind them is not a fantasy? Yeah, you're correct when you say...only in a perfect world. The perfect world every man so desires will only be when Christ comes to set up His Kingdom.

hmmm, its odd, just a few posts back you said i cant make u believe me because it has to do with FAITH, which is a spiritul thing, now you say that its NOT just a spiritual thing but is also a physical and mental thing. if so then why dont u go by the general laws of the physical and mental world, namely one VERY basic thing..............LOGIC.

even IF christ comes, there will be no perfect world because individuals similar to myself will still exists and wont go with christ, it will only be perfect for people like YOU and partial perfection is NO perfection.

Hmmm..you must have misread my posts. I never said that this was an issue of whether you could make me believe you. You are a triune being, but some matters of life on this earth are spiritual.

If what I say is a basic general law of the physical world (logic)...what is the debate? My point, all along, is that the issue at hand is a spiritual matter (because GOD HAS SET THE ORDINANCE). It is of a SUPERNATURAL MATTER. It's not just a sin of the flesh, it's an offense to the spirit. Either we use logic to say what sin is or we use the Word of God (which is spiritual). Just because one uses logic does not mean he is still not a spiritual being, and can think or reason on a spiritual level. Lifeforce is invisible, cannot be seen or touched, but you know you possess it...because you are alive!! To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life.

It's a shame that you have condemned yourself to an eternal existence without Christ!

But the point I was trying to make earlier is that this conversation is pointless...yet I got sucked into it. I hate it when that happens.

The only way to talk about homosexuality as a sin is to have a shared ground to begin with. Since he is in denial of all things spiritual, anything else is pointless.

there is no sin bigger than arrogance in the bible. what can be more arrogant than proclaiming that you know god's will and purpose? If I were you, i'd prepare myself for one of the more pleasant rounds of Malebolge

I know it was directed toward him.

you cant selectively ignore christs forbiddance to pass judgement on others. of coarse there are maters of public threat like rape and murder and crimes of the like where an inocent victim is a factor where we must take judgement into our own hands, but with the case of lifesyle, thats not our place. its his and his alone....or perhaps im mistaken?

Yeah, everyone ignores Jesus in the church anyway about the don't judge thing.....People feel it's their place to.

which imho is the highest form of blashphemy in that one sort of plays the part of christ. perhaps they feel that since they are well versed in the good book, they are by default judged and worthy of judging. and i could swear i always detect a hint of glee in their doom saying.

Yes but you got the concept of sinners wrong. Human are sinners due to Adam's sin. We all sinned in Adam. That does not make everything we do is sin but sin is in our nature. Even whatever we do comes short to the gloy of God.
