And I dont see how this can help games at all, I could be wrong but I doubt it. How many games use light guns? Not many because it doesnt work and the sooner idiot like you and the guys at nin work that out the better 😎

You're telling me you are above 20 years old?

Wow, just wow.

For the record, I never said it would be amazing, I said it COULD be. If you even botherred to read my posts you'd understand that. You are saying it WILL be a failure, which is very closed-minded.

It may not be as commercial as Sony or XBox, any idiot could point that out. Sony and XBox are likely to do better in my estimaton when it comes to sales, but Revolution may offer gameplay that stands head and shoulders above the other two.

Grow up, you're late.

Come on C, your atleast intrigued about the idea?

With the PS3 and XBOX 360 closely resembling each other. ( Dont tell me they dont), Nintendo's new console might bring some fresh air into the race.
I dont think they will outsell both of them, but I have a feeling that it will do well enough to compete for the two spot. Cheaper prices, different gameplay, and their franchises sound pretty good to me.
I just hope the sports game are up to speed.

But it would be pretty cool to play sports with that controller. But we have to wait and see.

Never said you did say it will be amazing, so read what I said 😛 And I satnd by my piont about the stabilty and the risk this is for Nin, last throw of the hat type situation. If it works then Ill say I was wrong but I cant see it. To many of these Ideas have falled, Does anyone remember the glove controller or the weird twisty one that Namco made. Gamers dont like change. It all well and good trying something new, but this will make harder for people to learn. It took me two weeks to teach mt kids the basics of PES4 on the PS2, now they can play anything. Yet this Nin contoller is a awful idea 😎

Allow me to kill three diseased birds with one stone-shaped post.

I don't think I've EVER seen a more potent example of blind fanboyism.

The PS2 controller can't be beat: unless the PS3 controller (which I have not yet seen) beats it.

Losing? Saleswise maybe. Just like Tool, Opeth and Radiohead are 'losing' to Robbie Williams in the music market.

Nintendo's 'gimmicky' controllers set standards every single time. They usually suffer from being ahead of their time. Your beloved PS2 controller is based on a Nintendo 'gimmick' from three full evolutions ago.

To prove my point try putting two controllers in your hands and control and move a something around the screen it so difficult.

I just put a Playstation controller in one hand, then a Cube one in the other. It is quite uncomfortable. Then I realised that's NOTHING LIKE the Revolution controller. I also noticed how much better the Cube one is.

I don't think Steven Hawking could prove your point. Especially as he uses a controller in each hand.

Won't be posting again for a few hours, in the interim period I'd like to hand you over to my colleague, Jim Cresswell.

His controllers are stationary which make a big difference. I never said that the PS3 contoller will be great I said I havent seen the finalised one. The Xbpx controller looks good as well as long as they get rid if those gum drop buttons, didnt feel right. And for the record I have all three consoles so it not Fanboyisim or what ever you called it its just fact. At the mo the PS2 controller is the best 😛

I wonder how many people will acknowledge that you are a Sony fanboy. Probably none. Because it's so biased toward Nintendo in here. Despite the fact that everything Victor, Red or I have said, has been backed up.

You come in with "PS2 one is the best" and nothing more. As my colleague, Pin Yart, just said...PS2 one is based on a decade or more old Nintendo one. There would be no PS2 controller were it not for SNES.

So I sure hope that everyone acknowledges this fanboyism. Or it'll prove you as nothing but hypocrites.

Again not Fanboy wahtever as I have already said I have them all and have since each was launched. if you want me to list the reasons why in my opinion PS2 contoller is the better of the three I will but I dont see the piont as it is widely acknowledge as the best by all gaming bodies. The GC contoller was good but lacked buttons and the C stick was at best a bit useless, which in the end made it feel a little like a fisher price toy. Just grow up and argue your point without calling names, its not personnal its a thread on points of views

It lacked buttons but the C-stick was useless? Why did it need more then? You haven't thought this through have you champ?

The PS2 isn't the best to me. It's less comfortable, less functional and less innovative. The very fact that you are claiming it is in such a way is the act of a fanboy. Your PS2/PS3 comment showed that.

-AC

bored of you, the C stick was only helpful on a few games. And it did need more buttons for games such as the all might PES4 which needed eight buttons. As you saying the contoller was uncomfortable, well thats up to you and if you found it so,you must have huge or very tiny hands.

Ok, let me clear this up.

I think it looks awesome and cool, but I don't really go by that.

If my friend had one, I'd play it, I'll play anything, my point was about the precision in context and coorelation to the controllers design.

I was being picky, because it asked how I would play it, not how i thought it looked.

I don't think its a "gimmick" necessarily (dual screen was IMO), I think its a cool idea.

But hell matrix the game was a cool idea.

I'm a fencesitter, I'll try it out, but I know I will have my complaints on some games.

agreed, it doesn't lead to a good argument.

I still like my custom ps controller.

and the logitech portable, simply amazing, I havent' changed batteries in it yet. Its very comfortable too, and has great range, and flawless accuracy.

No need to thank me, I believe the cstick had a limited range, and wasn't stable. I also have big hands.

I didn't like the original xbox controller as much, it was too thick.

Gamecube is small, but its too wide in the middle, I can play it, but on some games the buttons can be awkward, like when I was playing timesplitters.

Playstation custom is my choice, because its not too thick or thin, and the buttons were parallel, making it great for many games overrall.

Which is also why I like the SNES, also my choice.

Because Sony DIDN'T get up to 3 and realise they could do no more did they? They didn't pass the franchise off to other companies who could do a better job than they did, only to claim them back after OTHER companies did the work, did they? They produced Zero, the remake (and superior version) of 1 with it's hour of added STORY (not just new guns a la PS2's Resi 4), and 4, didn't they? Wait....no they didn't. Sony STOPPED at 3 and sold the franchise to people more capable than they were (hahaha, Sega). What exclusive Resi's have they produced that are worth mentioning? The original, sure. 2? Of course, incredible game (which they also gave to the N64 so it could be bettered...there's a pattern). Erm...3? Filler. All 3 Gun Survivors? The extremely floppable Outbreaks? Cube have Zero, 4 and the remake of 1, Sega have Code Veronica to their name. Sony didn't have any part in the creation of the best of the series. Resident Evil 4 is being lessened to become a PS2 game. Resident Evil 5 has a bulk of what was birthed with RE4. Nintendo's machine, like it or not, is responsible for the series being what it is today and what it has become. Not to mention that 5 isn't only Sony, it's Microsoft also.

Funny how I'm merely speaking out of which console and company I prefer to play games by, yet I get branded a fanboy. You make ill informed and factually incorrect comments such as "All but 4 were solely for Sony, as will be 5" and nothing is said. Proves a point.

The entire bulk of this nonsense arguement is thus: So and so RE WOULD have been been released on Nintendo but nasty old Sony stole it. Or RE WOULD have been released on N64. Or RE SHOULD have been released on Nintendo.

Coulda. Woulda. Didna.

Please. Resident Evil is solely Sony material through and through. What did get released on Gamecube or N64? Cheap-ass knockoffs of the originals previously released on Playstation selling for 20 bucks.

Capcom ventured into Nintendo for Resident Evil..can came running back to Sony for Resident Evil 5 and hell even signed a contract to Sony and Microsoft as exclusives.

ouch...

Speaking of knockoffs, did anyone like silent hill?

Code: Veronica was Dreamcast, Resident Evil Zero was Gamecube. All of the Playstation ones were on PC too.

Oh well.

Zero is ONE game of two Gamecube titles that's remotely original.

And the Playstation titles were there before the PC. Except 1.

Why mention the atrocity of Code: Veronica.

People ya gotta stop with the: "Ha Ha! Gamecube has Resident Evil 4 and the others don't! We finally get ONE game to brag about!" 😄

what the hell is at the end of your post, its not even a red "x"
