She had no powers when she battle galactus her powers was back.
say that even at the max of her powers still is no match her Weak Galactus that says a lot.
Read carefully
She say my powers grows but even then if anyone can beat that is GALACTUS.
Says nothing about weak, you and i both know she had her powers back and was growing rapidly.
She even makes prediction that it doesn't matter how much her power grows still won't beat Galactus.
and you friend Reed also says
Darkpho might be able to match Galactus power
😄
Incorrect KG.
She says even though her power is growing geometrically it still has limits and if theres anyone who reaches them its Big G. The lobotomy left her in a limited state as the scans show and state. The time she fought Galactus she fought if anyone could beat her in the state she was at at that point it was him. Fortunately she was wrong. Her power sthen increased further as she states in those scans and she went on to consume the universe. Yes Galactus can destroy a universe but thats beside the point. She dsetroyed the universe and Galactus with it. Thats the point.
In Uncanny X-men 135 Prof X says Jeans power is growing along a geometric curve with no end in sight. Therefore her power is gradually increasing. As Jean leaves Earth Reed says hes getting Readings from someone whose power rivals Galactus. She then goes on to state that while her power is growing her power at that point isnt at its peak. Hence her going on to eat a star.
Point MOOT!!!! 😂

How can we debate?
Most of this Debate you are making assumptions
Where did you get Pho got stonger? Can you show a scan where pho got stonger if you can’t then the debate is pretty much over

Gimme 5 mins. After i come up with goods id like an apology for that unwarranted remark 🙂
The scan after yours:
Moira talking of how Jeans power is increasing along a geometric curve with no end in sight. So it seems Galactus equals a limited Phoenix:
So there you have it. As Jean left Earth her growing power was around Galactus' level but as stated on panel her power was on a geometric curve with no end in sight. She then went on to eat a star.
What you guys need to remember is that youre just looking back at these instances in isolation. The threadmaker said we need to judge this as per the current phoenix interpretation. KG you yourself said under those circumstances Phoenix wins so why are we still debating?

Here is what we know.
Phoenix powers has limits (nearly Unlimited ) but has limits ( two times)
First Darkpho says it, and then Galactus say near Unlimited.
I mean where you are getting the idea that Pho was talking about her weaker help.
in the scan below seem like she was getting her powers back and was theorizing that even if it grows there is always be a limit
Hence the word Limit
And Current Phoenix is pretty evident she takes Galactus with no problem.
This has gotten pointless now.
At Full Power, Galactus is Eternity's equal, but the more he uses his powers, the more his physical self depletes and drops in potency.
Dark Phoenix, on the other hand, is Eternity's superior, and her energy reserves are perpetually infinite without need to replenish by converting matter to energy and consuming it.
Her "well" never runs dry.
At best, Galactus could hold Dark Phoenix at bay until he not only depleted his inherrent reserves, but hypothetically, transmuted and consumed all matter and energy in the 616 universe (where the conflict took place), then moved on to each successive universe and repeated the process to contend with Phoenix, and even then, he'd eventually run out of fuel, consuming all matter and energy in creation, while Dark Phoenix's power supply would not even fluctuate.
It's like an extremely high voltage rechargable battery versus a self sustained fusion reaction.
nope galactus was never eternity's equal, even when he was supposedly the strongest CHARACTER in marvel in the 80s, when he met with eternity, in pure respect of eternity, he turned into a star and humbly had a little talk with eternity, galactus is nowhere near eternity's level, full potential or not.

So why are you arguing then when thats the conditions of this thread?

She said her powers were growing as she used them but she had limits. In other words while they were gradually returning to their pre-lobotmomy levels she still had limits. It wasnt an instant process. So the limits she had, she thought Galactus could surpass. She thought wrong. They battled and she had enough juice to see him off. While his blasts were shrugged off heres caused him to cry out in pain. He left saying that he could probably destroy her. But thats hardly conclusive. As they say actions speak louder than words. She continued using her powers and they eventually grew back to their previous levels. She went on destroy the universe at which point Galactus became a non factor. Simple as.
Due to the lobotomy her ability to generate power was limited but as she stated the more she used her power the stronger they became.
The fact that Dark Phoenixes powers were said to grow geometrically with no end in sight says it all im afraid KG.
What you need to understand as well is that Phoenix as stated on panel instinctively erected psychic circuit breajers on her power to hold it back. She didnt exactly need the power levels she was displaying over the M'kraan incident to be a member of the X-men. However the manipulations which turned Jean into Dark Phoenix slowly made her break down those circuit breakers. Therefore freeing her up of those limits the more she used her power.
Galactus in another encounter highlights his finite power in comparison to her near unlimited potential.
What you need to comprehend KG is that both of those fights werent current continuity. We are looking back on them and interpreting through the eyes of current continuity. Thats what the threadmaker said to do. You are not doing that. Youre still making a distinction between the two. Saying dark phoenix can do this but current continuity phoenix wins with ease. 😕
As per the threadmakers conditions youve basically agreed that phoenix wins. Game over.
Illadelphs got it in one:

Only at doing certain things - her power is only used in certain ways, she is a tool no more no less - the Phoenix force does not have complete autonomy - it would not be allowed to kill Galactus, he probably would win for this reason alone 🙂

indeed limit means limit not infinite
But could that limit only apply to her perception? Could it not be self imposed? That's what happened when Phoenix originally appeared. When she was fighting Magneto she says that she needs more power but there isn't any more. Then she says, "But I thought I HAD NO LIMIT." The limits were placed there by her so that her still human mind would be able to deal gradually with what was happening/had happened to her.
As far as not being allowed to kill Galactus...I figure it's a non-issue, since Phoenix can always make another.
