Dont you think Nintendo might lose a few people buying games by giving us Wii Sports for free?

The DS launch was similiar.

Why should they? If you think about it, bundling Wii Sports with the console will have those who wanted the game to think, instead, about how they're getting the game free, with the console.

As a strategy, the aim is to push consoles with the "free" game that comes with it, not the game itself. It doesn't work in the long run, but the bundle is intended for the first month or so, at least through the Christmas season.

It could go both ways and it will work if they're is a couple of really good games at launch.

I think it's good because although I'm getting an Wii, I don't know if I would have bought the Wii Sports. Yes it looks interesting and I would like to play it, but as far it looks, it doesn't seem to be worth the price of an average game in my opinion.

So, I'm glad that's what they decided to do because I was worried I wouldn't get to play Wii Sports.

I was watching the Metroid Prime 3 gameplay videos, and honestly, was impressed with the graphics. The background graphics, and especially the lighting look very nice, a noticeable improvement on the gamecube Prime games.

Just watched the new Red Steel trailer, that game just keeps on looking better and better...but its annoying as hell when they have some idiot playing the game, jumping around, hiding behind his couch 😐 Yeah, Im totally going to be doing that 😐

They have an alternate control instead of the remote right? Is it still motion controlled, or is it all done by simple button pressing? Cause that game looks awkward as hell trying to aim and shoot with one hand, while reloading, strafing, opening doors and everything else with the other 😬

Red Steel looks cool, but I heard it controls really poorly, or it did at E3. Hopefully they'll fix that before launch.

Man, I gotta hand it to Metroid Prime 3. It just LOOKS good. Lighting is beautiful, and I have to say that I love the new charge shot animation.

It also looks to be really focused on the story this time around, instead of the background info being optional through logs. Stuff HAPPENS, with the GalFed soldiers and everything. It REALLY sucks that it won't be at launch... 🙁

News out that the Wii will go for £180 in the UK, and between £35 and £40 a game. Not bad at all.

I'll be going to change my preorder of Zelda from GC to Wii sometime today. No way I'm waiting 'til Dec. 11 for my 3-years-in-waiting Zelda.
