I have here two great articles that is a surprise to be honest. I would have imagined PS3 to have improved some of the PS2s bad qualities but when your console gets a bad review in the New York Times then I guess something is really wrong.

we finally got our Wii on Friday, and my god it's amazing. we only got 3 games (4 if you include the sports) and i'm just plain addicted to Twilight Princess and Trauma Center: Second Opinion. Red Steel's OK, but i think i'll appreciate the multiplayer more though. if it weren't for me need for sleep, i'd still be playing Twilight Princess. i've even spent at least 5 hours in Mii editing already

Interesting stuff.

I had no idea PS3 dropped the ball with the online interface, that's a big deal, seeing as the 360 interface is flawless.

It will probably get fixed at some point with an update but the problem is they are focusing on the fact that you can view websites and other things as opposed to 360 where its a fixed interface, only the content gets modified.

So what's the overall consensus in here -- about those who have purchased the Wii so far?

How would you rate it on a scale of 1 to 10?(10 being the best rating)

im gonna give it an 7 or 8 as of right now

im broke, so i could only get TP when i got my Wii

but it really is amazing

and with the lineup of games scheduled to come out in the next year or so, it will only get better

and when Wii's can play DVD's, then it will dominate everything

The kicker is the downloading content problem. Who in the right mind would make a console where you cant play games while downloading demo's. That's retarded.

And not including hi def cables. That's gotta be the lowest of the low.
But is that not including componenet cables? Or just HDMI cables?

So many problems with the PS3. Seems like the 360 is the better of the two.

Neither HDMI nor component cables are shipped with the PS3. Both are sold seperately.

Something else Sony "forgot" to include on that table a little while back.

I think with this generation I will end up following the same thing I did with the last. Ill get the Nintendo within the first year or so, and then get the Xbox when its price drops later.

Sony said wait 6 months or so to get the patches to fix the problems. Great, so we had to wait an extra year to get the PS3 and now we have to wait another 6 months for it to actually finish!? Good thing I got the 360. Resistance: Fall of Man (graphically) doesn't look better then the 360 Gears of War. Heck even the PS3's Oblivion looks the same as the 360's Oblivion.

That's probalby just the lazyiness of the developers.

PS3 is more powerful, but the only way I see it being more powerful is that games are more fluid than the 360's.

That's an ripoff for the PS3....it doesnt come with HD cables. That's an joke.

Just like the PSP. Sony already has a high price for the system and then BAM! they reveal hidden prices that you need like that $90 memory card for the PSP. Whoa Sony...trying to get everyone's money now.

heh... I knew that from the second I played the motor storm demo at the EB kiosk, and it ran at 20 FPS.. I was literally like " 😐 "

then of course you know the onslaught of 10 year olds rush up behind me and go "Omg look at the graphics"
