More analysts pick PS3 to win the console war...http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/758/758099p1.html
And once again they give no reasons. 🙄
I wonder when the analysts will analyze the general public... because public opinion seems to be thankfully drifting back toward "it's games, not hardware that counts."
Originally posted by SmasandianRegardless to whether its innovative or not, unless I see something else worth getting the game for, there is no justified reason for me to buy this game, espeicially if I already have VF4 and it plays the same 😛
I'm pretty sure I know what snow is, and let me tell you after countless games of tackle football in the park, snow isnt very fun for an timed based, quick thinking and quick movement of a game. Anyways, it doesnt really matter, just overall VF5 is known to be a great fighter that takes massive amount of skill to play. It's huge in Japan arcades for that reason. You cant even play any of the old games anymore, (or they're stuck in the dirty back corner)I just dont think the fighters are meant to be innovating every single time and some snow will not do that. It will make very annoying.
MLB 2K7? Whats that? American football? How does it use rumble? 😮
Sorry, us English are more into soccor sports games 🙂 Thats pretty much a reason why many of us Brits even buy a console, just for Fifa or Pro Evo, we Europeans are very passionate about fooite / Soccor ^^ We take it really seriously.

I got my income tax return back today, and I decided to spoil myself with a Playstation3 (60 gig HD) package. I bought the DVD remote, Tony Hawk's Project 8 and Resistance: Fall of Man.droolio I'm loving it so far!
My only gripe is that I really miss the rumble feature. ermm
Resistance looks pretty sweet, I wish it was out for the 360, I'd love to play it.
Glad you're happy with your purchase, how are you liking Resistance?

Baseball dude. 😉
The rumble is used to aim your pitches, when you get to the edge of the strikezone it rumbles, the farther outside the zone the harder it rumbles. Its ok by yourself or online cuz you can use a cursor, but you cant use the cursor playing against someone on the same console cuz they will see where you are pitching. lol
Meh, do what eye toy and Wii sports did 🙂 Lol

Sony's excuse for getting rid of the rumble feature was so ****ing weak:"Oh, we couldn't include the rumble feature and the motion sensing at the same time, it just couldn't be done"
*Nintendo does it*
"Ohh.....uhh......couldn't be done..."
Don't think it much matters anymore, whats done is done, and theres really not much that can be done about it. To some it matters, to others it doesn't matter much, I do a lot of PC gaming, so the fact my mouse doesn't rumble means it doesn't bother me much while it seriouslt bugs others, dunno, just matter of opinion i guess 🙂

That was a lame ass article. The are proably right about the ps3 but they sure did very little to prove it just saying it will win becuase of better technology. The PS3 may win in 7 years but the Wii and XBox sure are winning now.
I think somebody here put it best, referring to consol wars in general that:
"Its a marathon, not a hundred yard dash."

Sony is definitely taking the tortoise approach.
All I care about is to know that it has released over here in the UK already, I have it in my hands, and I have the games to make me a very happy person.
My GF is getting a Wii, she doesn't know anything about gaming, but she wants a Wii -_-, she isn't interested in any other console, she only has a bloody PS2 cos it had Eye toy, lol. Don't worry, I'm not telling her to buy a PS3 or anyhting, I'm not that sad, she can buy what she wants, I'm looking forward to her getting it, we can play multiplayer 😉 😉 😉
I was gonna get a Wii, but if she gets one, I might not bother, I see her often, so I can play hers when I want 🙂

I don't care that they left it out, I just don't know why they didn't say the real reason and decided to lie about it.

I was hoping for a fresh switch from Halo. I think I got it, but it seems a bit too similar at times. Tony Hawk's Project 8, however, is the single best Tony Hawk game yet.
