Varies from channel to channel. Wii Shop is where you download games and updates, Weather gives you weather forecasts, News gives you worldwide news, and Everybody Votes is a way for Nintendo to find out popular opinion, which if we're lucky will later on influence the games they make.

Can you set up a mini lan type thing with the next gen consoles? Like whats the amount of consoles that can be linked to each other?

I chose the mobile option, this game is about as exciting as the rubber ducky game, if I wanted cheezy arcade classics, there are many an alternative to pick them up -_-. From homebrew to XBLA, the last thing I want is more cheezy arcade games I'll never play.
