Not really... there just pulling a iPOD move by changing color adding more memory plus HDMI which not that many people care about. I wish they had kept the black color instead of changing white tho. However the bigger HDD is worth it if you download a lot of movies.

That's precisely the point. People actually care about what colour a console is to the point of it being a factor in deciding what is the better machine, despite it being a non-factor.
It's really very stupid.

Oh, well for me personally it's not about which machine is better based on color. It's just preference. With Handhelds anyway. For example. I don't think I'd be too happy with a hot pink Gameboy DS....😬
Consoles have always come in one color over the past years, so that really hasn't been an issue with consoles.

It's not a matter of there being options at launch. If you have an instant choice of black, pink or red, obviously it doesn't affect the machine, but pick whichever you like.
The point is, some idiots actually felt cheated when Sony and Microsoft re-released their consoles in different colours AFTER, as if it matters.

I always thought people felt cheated because it offered HDMI ports and an bigger harddrive for people to dl tv shows and movies, and not because of its colour.
I dont care about harddrive, but I would love to have HDMI cables so I can plug in my Wii that I will get sooner or later, and have my HD cable and XBOX 360 plug into my TV and I dont have to worry about changing the componenet cables each time I want to play either system. Or I could get an switcher box, but I couldnt find any component cables ones and that they're bloody expansive. Might as well just get the HDMI cables.
