Sony would of pulled the plug on the Ps2 if the backwards compatibility worked properly on the Ps3. Tell us why the Ps2 sold so much more in February if the Ps3 is 'so worth it'. I don't think any console is worth $600 to be honest, when you look at the long run Nintendo will be offering the most for the Virtual Console alone, and XBox for all the live capabilities, and the easier to tolerate price tags.

um...okay lucky me...i just gotta a deal...my neighbor wants to sell me a BRAND NEW PS3 for $350.00...is that a good idea? he bought and doesnt want it anymore....so should i go ahead and get it? note that i already have a 360 and a wii.

I'm sure many people will tell you to jump on that deal while you still can if you have any interest in getting a Playstation Three.

Personally, since I everything I buy must be brand-new and not used, I'd say not to buy it.

Besides......there could be a reason why he don't want his SIX HUNDRED DOLLAR system anymore and is selling it for a mere THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS..........Think about it...........and if you are seriously considering this.......at least give it a test run first.......and if they refuse............then definitely don't buy it.

The movie selection is getting larger, theres like 5 movies being released every now and again, its growing, but it is meant for gaming, and games is what it currently lacks, I mean, all the games I really want for it are no where to be seen, some haven't even been announced yet 🙁 very frustrating...

I'll gladly pick one up on the terms the price drops or the games I want make an appearance or someone buys it for me. For the moment I am quite satisfied with what I have.

well..its brand new...in the box....he is like 23....im best friends with his sister he bought it for his girl friend who broke up with him blah blah blah...all i care about is the 350 dollar NEW ps3....so what your saying is that i should get it. its still in the box so hell...all im worried about is buying it and not having anything to play on it..itll just be sitting in there

Devil May Cry 4 is no longer an exclusive to the PS3.

This a huge blow and it looks like Capcom is becoming very very friendly with MS. Lost Planet, Dead Rising and now Devil May Cry 4 is an 360 game too. Wow.

Not that I like the DMC games at all...but damn. Sony's in a bit of trouble here.

That... is really, really bad for Sony. I don't have any interest in the DMC series, but I know how big it is.

It's funny considering awhile back in these forums, PS3 fans said that the PS3 will reign because of DMC4...or whatever its called.

I think Capcom is going with the 360 now, or they will release Lost Planet and Dead Rising on the PS3. Probably unlikely considering the massive sales each game has garnered....(or big sales)

Sony Still has The Final Fantasy Series Thank God. And God of War III is planned to be released on that too. So they still have something. Good enough reasons for me anyway to get a Playstation Three sometime in the future.

Square has already started making FF games on other systems (Only remakes, I think? iono.) it's only a matter of time...

Not only remakes. The main series is still Sony, yes, but who knows if that'll remain to be the case?

turns out that the wii wasnt close enough (strange, since its suposed to be a max of 10 metres, which is the length of the room)
i need a bigger extention to the usb now 😐

Final Fantasy XIII's two games, are ALL Ps3 has along with MGS4, and Ratchet & Clank. If those two games don't make people buy the console, nothing will. Sony screwed up, bad. 99% of these games will be ported between the 360 and Ps3, so people will just wait for/buy the 360 versions.
