It seems that games easiest to mod for the VC are the ones nobody wants to buy. Neo Geo games? Kirby? Japanese imports? Why won't Nintendo listen to us, the Wii owners, and give us titles worth a damn?

To be fair, the two Japanese imports so far are great titles. The true Super Mario Bros. 2, and an excellent rail shooter for the N64 that even comes with English voice acting built in.

I prefer the American Super Mario Bros. 2, personally.

Man, I love that game so much...it's so WEIRD but it's awesome.

The VC version I downloaded isn't the tweaked/upgraded version that was on the SNES Super Mario All-Stars edition, with all 3 Super Mario Bros. games in one cartridge. Remember that one, Lana?

I never had an SNES as a kid, my brother and I only got one about five years ago. The version I know and love is the original that was on the NES 😛

That's the version I have from the VC. I really wish 3 was available.

I liked playing Super Mario Allstars. It had Super Mario World in it, too.

One change that I liked about Super Mario Bros. 3 was that it had one of the kings turned into a yoshi. 🙂

Not all of them did. Only Super Mario World + Allstars had the games together. Besides that you could only get one or the other and the NES version of SMB3 is by far the best one.

Well, I had the Super Mario Allstars that included Super Mario World.

I only had the Super Mario World one.

Did anyone hear of that scientific/Latin twist to Assassin's Creed?

I'm wondering how it will play into the storyline.

Apparently, I haven't. Care to elaborate?

Well, it says if you get killed in the game, some latin word flashes up and a lady in a labcoat with a graph is checking something out.

Something like that.

One of my favourite games is Super Mario 3 and I didnt really start playing it until about 2 years ago when I got my DS and bought the GBA version.

I love it to death and have beating it about 5 times. Perfect blend of simple and complex gameplay. There is nothing more satisfying in a game then jumping through a level of SMB3 and doing it fast and always hitting the platforms and not missing.

Super Mario Bros 3 was the one where you could get a Raccoon (except it wasn't a Raccoon) suit and turn into stone right?

Apparently a dudette who worked as a Voice actor on the game managed to slipp some spoilers about the whole sci-fi angel is that it is possible to access the Genetic Memory of your forefathers through your DNA, and that possibly we are one of Altairs descendants.

Tanuki suit, yep.

That a name? Or a phrase?

Just checked what I just wrote btw, it was Kristen Bell, aka Veronica Mars, who slipped the sci-fi spoiler.

Morridini,

The racoon tail was the one that made you fly, while the Tooniki suit is the way that turns you into stone and fly as well.

um, i dunno if you people have got this already, but my wii just got an update that allows me to use my USB keyboard on the wii..
who else has got this?
