Quite a bit my friend, I have around 14 to 15 games, and 4 Live games.

I used to be totally against the 40 GB w/o BC.

Now I totally support it.

Because:

1. I guess BC wasn't all that popular to many to begin with
2. chances are people already own a PS2 slim
3. If they want a PS2 after purchasing a 40 GB they can get one for cheap
4. PS2's are only getting cheaper (I predict Price drop to $79.99 by 9/01/08)
5. $400 is right where this thing should have been in the first place
6. Software emulation is getting better and better and may make its way to the 40 GB anyway (assuming they still support it)
7. BC if not by emulation then maybe an add on or something

Orginally, I was against anything XBOX, starting with the original.

I never bought any system outside of Nintendo, but when I got my 360, I realized its stupid to only have one console if your an gamer and if you have the money for more than one.

So, I love my 360. Can't see why I thought of that before.

I'm a WiiS3 owner, and I'm considering getting a 360 premium for Xmas. I used to plan to buy the Elite, but I realize that I have no need for all that hard drive space.

I still think Saturn was better than PS1

Darkhalen, just because you don't personally like it doesn't mean you have to bash it. I'm sure most of the people who bought a PS3 are happy with it.

I HATE THE THING!!!!!!!!!

But as you can see all I said was it was a waste, I can voice my opinion, its not bashing anyone, and I have not scathed the PS3, but they are a waste.

We get that you hate the thing. I'm not fond of it but I don't feel the need to bring it up every single post.

And really, it's NOT a waste. Overpriced and not doing well, but there are games for it, thus it's not a waste.

what a pathetic waste of hardware, true it does have games, thing is it DOES NOT HAVE GOOD GAMES, throw it into an active volcano, and be gone with it.

It actually DOES have good games, though. Most of the good ones are on the 360 as well, but good games do exist for that system.

Same here. It's a shame that Sega screwed themselves up with the Saturn and the Dreamcast. They not only pissed off the stores that would sell the consoles but the developers that would have made the games for that console.

See even you acknowledge how bad it is price wise and lacking the good games and exclusives, plus no backwards compatibility, and over heating, not worth the money or the time.

I know Ratchet and Clank is a pretty solid game but when the 360 has Gears of War, Halo 3, BioShock, Blue Dragon, Mass Effect, and pretty soon Fable 2 and the Wii has the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Sonic & the Secret Rings, Super Mario Galaxy, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, and pretty soon Super Smash Bros Brawl you can't help but ask...where are all these games Sony promised?
