Yes, the price IS an issue, but it is very expensive tech. If Sony had waited a bit longer, the prices for the technology would have dropped a huge amount.

Motorstorm, MGS when that comes out, Final Fantasy XIII (the game that will sell that system if anything will), and everyone I know who's played Resistance and Heavenly Sword have said that they're very good games. Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted are both supposed to be good (one of my friends plans on getting a PS3 just for Uncharted). Plus then there's all the games that are also on the 360 as well that the PS3 has.

Yes you are right about FF XIII, but I am sick of FF, subject to it's own success, so it thinks it is a god, I like final fantasy 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 but after that they seemed to churn them out all the time, it's starting to get stale, same old same old, nothing new or different.

Okay so PS3 has Motorstorm because you know the 360 and Wii have no ability to have a racing game. Seriously Motorstorm? Is the lack of games for the PS3 truly that big that you have to use Motorstorm?

Resistance: Fall of Man is a standard shooter at best that compared to Gears of War, BioShock, or Metroid Prime 3...well I really don't have to say because it's very clear as well as I can play God of War on the PS2 (Heavenly Sword).

Reviews for Uncharted are pretty good (88% on Game Rankings) and like I said Ratchet and Clank is a solid game but the great platforming and shooting is buried by a lot of pointless sub-games that you have to do.

And what's the point on spending more money on games that are also on the 360 that have been proven to be graphical inferior to the 360 version?

Final Fantasy XIII may have people buy a PS3 when it comes out but I doubt MGS4 will have the kind of impact FFXIII will have.

Why do you think that I really care about the PS3? I don't. I don't like it as a system.

But it is not as horrible as most people make it out to be.

I never said you DID care, in fact not once in my post has it insinuated or suggested or said, that you LANA like the PS3.

It's not the system. The system is amazing and can graphical make the 360's graphics look like something from the PS1 or N64 but the lack of good exclusive games has really injured the PS3's success.

It's not horrible as a system for consumers. I would buy it if I had another TV and money, but I dont know.

It's Sony's fault really, and don't compere the graphics of the PS1 to the 360 it's better then that.

Oh it is. That's why most of the games that are on both systems end up coming out later for the PS3. The 360 is easier to program for because it's based off of computer programming languages that exist already, I think. The PS3 is just a mess to program for.

I don't think it is JUST the games why the PS3 fails, I think the PS3 is inferior to the 360 in every way, besides from graphic capabilities, then they are not that far apart, plus the PS3 has not shown us what its engine can do, and I don't care for graphics, as long as I can see everything and play the game I don't care, as long as the graphics show what need to be shown, the camera is good, and you can play the game that is all that matters.

The PS3 is technologically superior, actually. It just hasn't yet been able to show what it can do.

Which isn't too much of a surprise, really. It was a full year before a game came out on the 360 that really put the system's tech to use and showed what it can do.

I don't care much for how well that, trash can looks, or look at that real time garbage flowing in the wind, people say look at the scenery in games, no I'm to BUSY PLAYING THE GAME, that's why I brought it, to shoot a bunch of aliens dead, not to go around looking at the grass and commenting on how realistic the trees look.

Well, in other news, I may just be getting a 360 this weekend.

Orginally, I was against anything XBOX, starting with the original.

I never bought any system outside of Nintendo, but when I got my 360, I realized its stupid to only have one console if your an gamer and if you have the money for more than one.

So, I love my 360. Can't see why I thought of that before.

That's why I had no interest in the Xbox until now. Took me a whole year to get the Xbox360.

Library of games improved.......some interested me........reason to finally buy it.

Out of all of them, its the Nintendo productst that have the small amount of software compared to all systems.

People complain about the lack of software with the PS3 but what about the Wii...there is nothing outside of Metriod, Mario and Zelda. THere is a few other titles but its similiar to the PS3 in terms of exclusives.

But Wii does variety, new game experiences and the most crucial thing of all, lets you have fun.

Besides that, their library really only appealed to a limited number of gamers.......to a certain type of gamer.

No variety at all in my opinion and what they had really was that good to me.

The Playstation 2 got all of the actual good games for the most part.

I fear for the Wii

It's way too much fun to play with (I been playing nothing but Wii this month), but then I look at games like Assassin's Creed (though not so much lately since a lot say it's repetitive), COD 4, GTA 4 and others multiplatform games that won't appeared on the Wii and it makes me sad.

I know Nintendo can make good games for it, but party/cartoon sports games can only take it so far. It needs more solid 3rd party support to keep it going. Casual players are ok, but it is hardcore gaming which has made what the gaming industry is today. Wii it's the best selling console, but how many of those consoles are used for anything other than occasional gaming (by anything I mean actual/hardcore gaming).

Nintendo is happy about it, but 3rd Parties won't be happy.They care about their games being sold. The actual sales of games is lower than the number of consoles sales: what does that mean? what is the people that bought a Wii doing with it? just playing Wii Sport by the looks of it.

What happens if the Wii loses 3rd Party support? What happens when games go for a technical advance and the Wii isnt capable of following?
Zak and Wiki is a solid step forward for 3rd Party games on Wii, but, I havent heard anything about it, except how great it is, since his launch week.

Hopefully it will keep on picking up (games wise) and my fear fades, but they need to listen to people, especially hardcore gamers. It needs to improve it's online experience, ease up on the censorship (chat) and, for the sake of Pete, Voicechat!!!!
