I love Live, I dont see a reason to own a 360 without, its pretty much tied into everything now.

I was bored to tears with that game a quarter of the way through, the problem wasn't with the ending 😛

I have major issues with how a lot of game developers with the 360 rely on Live to create longevity for the game rather than making it have that to begin with. I don't expect to really own many games where I'd really use it so I really don't know if I'm going to bother spending the money. I just don't see a point.

I own Live, but I don't use it much, I play the games for myself, multilayer is always an add-on for me, I don't really care about it that much, I like single player mode more, Timesplitters has an enjoyable multilayer, so if it is available for the 360 we shall see what it is like, only interesting multiplayer experience for me.

Maybe not to play online, but you atleast need silver to get the most out of the system.

You get Silver anyway, with a month free of gold.

No, I just said that it had some good quality games, which is true.

But, its my opinion to say that the GameCube had less quality games because its all based on what the person likes.

Personally, I pretty much dont like any of the games the PS2 offers because its not my thing. I'm a shooter, and RTS fan.....alot of those genres didnt really go on the PS2.

If that's your opinion then cool. But the Xbox had very few games that made me want to buy it. Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Jade Empire, KoToR, and Fable was about it for me.

Where as the Gamecube had Super Mario Sunshine, Super Smash Bros Melee, Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Star Fox Adventures, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Resident Evil 4, Tales of Symphonia, the Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker & Four Swords Adventures, Paper Mario, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Pikmin, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, F-Zero GX, Luigi's Mansion, and heck even Star Fox Assault. I really enjoyed the games the Gamecube had.

The PS2 on the other hand...curse thee for destroying the Dreamcast!

Except that it wasn't, because you're using the word wrong. The number of good games may have been small, but the total game library was extremely large.

Sure, some third aprty aspects are not what they could be, but it's not approaching a crisis.

Fact is the Wii is now FLOODED with 3rd party games. The problem is that most of them are shit. But we are going to start seeing more Zack and Wiki's than "Crap Shoot VI" or whatever.

Nintendo is showing more and more of what the console can do and it really is being picked up on. Software sales are very healthy, hardware sales are amazing, and over the last month or two the software catalogue has hugely increased in quality.

I think saying it compares to the PS3 library is something that does not bear any amount of close examination.

Wii, is for the family so It has allot of party games, 360 is for the hardcore shooter and the PS3 well........

So the Wii might have few "hardcore" games, but the few they have seem to be pretty good ones at least.

It has good games, can't fault it for that, and it has games for all, as well as variety.

Talking about quality 3rd parties games for Wii, has someone tried out MOH Heroes 2?

For what I heard it's got a solid control scheme, IGN says it's better than MP3, and that is no small feat to accomplish...

funny thing about it, it's a PSP sequel that actually plays better on the Wii than in PSP, and it looks pretty ok too... and it's from EA... 😑

I dont think its approaching an crisis and its not the end of the world for Nintendo, but hopefully they get some good quality 3rd party titles, and I have yet seen one thats good.

Well, I've had my 360 for about an hour and a half now, and damn I'm glad I finally got one.

Just wish I could have afforded more games right now...😛
