Am I being warned for "backchatting" or trying to get the thread back on topic?
If it's for the latter, many others do it as well and I don't see it as a bad thing. And those others that do it, don't get reprimanded for it. Getting reprimanded for trying to get a thread on topic, and then defending that and then getting warned seems a little extreme, but so be it.

Hey, IR.Take a hint.
The rest of you, knock it off and get back on topic.
And if people are going to quote sales numbers, kindly state what region you're referring to and also provide a link.
In other words, "The PS3 beat the Wii in sales last month" does NOT mean the same as "The PS3 beat the Wii in sales last month in Japan". It means "The PS3 beat the Wii in sales last month everywhere. Big big differences there.
My respect for you just increased by leaps and bounds...you are an awesome mod.

Your backchat to mods has landed you in trouble before, InnerRise. That's another official warning to you, and that really is your last one.Btw, if you continue to insist that 'nobody can stop you' doing something that a mod has told you not to do, I'll immediately permanently ban you.
Holy shit...that's serious business...

What would be so wrong with the Playstation 3 becoming successful?
You seem to be sternly against the Playstation 3 for some reason, so I'm assuming you won't be getting it, so it wouldn't affect you any if the Playstation 3 finally started increasing in sales.

I guess now people who tell others to debate nicely and not post porn falls in the category of "backseat modding". I love the ridiculousness of things said on KMC.
Backseat modding should me more like threatening or warning people of doing certain things, or act like they're of a higher class than members who are, like them.
Going by your logic, if I were to tell somebody to not post irrelevant nonsense in a thread I made, I would be backseat modding, which is dumb.
Also, I would like to know how two mods here define "back-talking". I'll be waiting.
And it's obvious Neo loathes the PS3.

Tell me, so if a member here who happened to be a mod, was disagreeing with me, and was debating with me in a topic about two fictional characters combatting each other, and at one point told me not to further debate with him, and I chose to keep debating, would you appear out of nowhere and issue a perma-ban, just because a mod said to me not to do something completely appropriate, or is it because in this case, you have an emotional attachment to Lana?
And frankly, resorting to ban someone when you're losing a debate is cowardly beyond reason.

You missed the point on more than one level, dude....you are straying off topic too; I would like to go back to discussion on the consoles.
I recommend you take up any concerns you have with the mods via PM.

First of all, think before you post. If it was just a debate where a mod was participating as a private member then that is different. But a mod acting in his/her capacity as a mod, enforcing rules and making rulings, arguing with that is a bannable offence.
Secondly, I often moderate around here; most areas have a global providing back-up.
Thirdly, what you consider appropriate is completely irrelevant. When a mod makes a ruling you follow it.
Fourthly, now I am simply warning you, for off-topic posts clearly arguing with mods and trolling at that with your personal comments. As this is hardly your first warning in this area, that's a week's ban, which you can read about when you get back here. Take the point this time or you will be gone forever.
If you ever have anything to discuss with a mod in respect to rulings, do it by PM.
