Look at how much I've spend on the 360. Only $633.95 which is already high. However, you're not gonna get that price if you run to buy a PS3. Not only are you looking at the $600 mark but also must include extra controllers and games.
I could add more to my $633.95. But only "if" I wanted to do it. The people at IGN making these claims are just fanboys. In the end you flip the bill sonny. You can listen to your wallet or listen to a pack of rabid Sony fanboys which as we all know can't reason when they think they're right.

@ lana, wouldnt it be beneficial to make a thread for each console to avoid this very nonesense? just throwing out the idea, since this is the equivalent of having a joint starwars/startrek forum. it just seems like trolling fanboy bait and really its inevitable that such a thread would routinely degrade into a nonesense "vs" thread.

I kinda agree with almost everyone on this thread that the PS3 is gonna SUCK. The console alone is $600, but then you have to add an extra controller (around $50) about two games ($130) and tax on top of that. I'm guessing that will come around $830 or more....
My 360 was HALF of that price with two games, and you could probably buy a 360 and Wii for the price of the PS3. And all of the PS3 fanboys are saying "the PS3 has the best games....bla bla bla"... well here's a list of amazing games that are exclusive to Wii and 360...
