Last-Gen Console Discussions (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii)

I'll just go ahead and repeat what was said and say get the Pro 360.

Wireless controllers are $50, wired are $40, the system comes with one, and the Arcade system is $280, Pro (the best deal) is $350, and the Elite is $450.

Was looking at this 'Stream my game' software released for PC, all PS3 owners with Linux will be able to stream pretty much any game from thier PC, thats IF it uses similar technology to Remote Play from PSP to PS3, so that you can stream higher quality games. You can play Halo 1 and 2 on it though apparently. Further info at Joystiq.

If so, thats awesome, Crysis on PS3, yay!!! Wait a minute.....damn, I have no comp to stream crysis from, oh well....nice dream while it lasted.

UK, January 22, 2008 - Hate it how your ceramic white PSP clashes with your jet black PS3? Well fret no more console fashionista, as details have emerged today of a white PS3 that may be on its way to the American market.

The Federal Communications Commission has on its website filings from Sony about the machine, complete with pictures of the console being put through its paces on the FCC test bed. A ceramic white PS3 has been available in Japan since last November, though there's no concrete timeline for if and when the white PS3 console can be expected in America, and Sony Europe wouldn't comment on plans to bring the console over to the UK.

Seriously, a white PS3 isnt appealing to me, I think black is good color for the system. I think silver would be a better choice.

Well, it is very hard to convey any sense of tone through plain text.

I can't imagine a white PS3 looking good. And at any rate, it's just going to be one more thing to take up space and confuse people who don't know all the details about Sony's stuff, as Sony likes to hide the little details about their systems.

I wonder what hidden secrets like no backwards compatibility the white PS3 will have.
