Yeah, Wiis are still around $250. Nintendo's had no reason to lower the price yet!

It should have cost around 100 now... if it wasn't the success it is...

they said they were aiming for a 99$ console... I guess good intentions get left by the wayside when you make so much money 😄

The $99 thing fell apart due to the expense of the flash memory inside the Wii.

But indeed, the reason the price has not dropped for the Wii is because it doesn't have to- people are still buying every single one Nintendo can make at the current price.

The price will drop when demand does.

Well, they have two games coming up that might be consider Killer Apps.

Resistance 2 and Little Big Planet. Those could be consider console sellers....well, so is MGS4 but that's another story.

I'm sure those games will be big sellers, but I doubt anyone will buy a PS3 for those games alone.

The New Xbox Experience(dashboard update) is coming on November 19th. 🙂

It should do more price cuts IMO.

No, Sony doesn't need to do more pricecuts.

What they need to do is stop discontinuing what's currently out and then putting out a new system every few months. And stop cutting out BC.

I'm pretty sure Sony needs to make money on the PS3, they were selling them at a loss before.

That's actually normal. Microsoft was selling at a loss for a long time, too.
