The PS3's games are shit except for MGS4. gears of War and Halo and Bioshock are all better than Resistance.

The graphics are not noticably better than the 360 most of the time.

Games that are kid freindly does not equal bad games.

Brawl has weaker graphics than any game onthe PS3 just about, but the only PS3 game more fun than Brawl is MGS4.

😆 😂 🤣 🙂 Must have not played and beaten the game then. I have bioshock for the PS3, and I love it, but not better than Resistance. Gears of War is alright, and never have really cared for any of the Halo games. Seen the 3rd, and 2nd, and played the 1st, just don't care for them.

I can tell alittle difference.

When there graphics look the same as they did on the DS, yeah they are. Have you seen the new games for the Wii. There is only seldom that I would buy, the rest are shit.

Again, 😆 😂 🤣 🙂 Brawl has the same graphics as it did for the Gamecube, just new characters. No way it is better than Resistance, FEAR, Turok, Conflict: Denied Ops, Army of Two, etc. Don't make me laugh myself to death.

If you think that graphics make a game good, then you're deicisons are foolish.

I mean, there's nothign inherently wrong with graphics, but good graphic games can still be shit. Look at Turock.

Folks, don't even try. Your logic can't repel fanboys of this magnitude.

Especially considering how often these days developers will use shiny graphics to distract from the fact that the actual gameplay is utter shit.

And Animal Crossing was designed to be a very simplistic game, graphics-wise. It's not exactly a good game to use for comparison.

Yeah, Resistance, and MGS are utter shit.

Ok, then how about Littlest Pet Shop, Bratz: Girls Really Rock, High School Musical 3, Build a Bear workshop, Carnival Games, Mini Golf, etc. Nintendo should be embarresed of thereselves.

And it isn't fanboyism. You guys keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means. Just because I want a system with awesome games, awesome graphics, and no affence to the Xbox360 people, red ring of death doesn't make me a fanboy.

I'd say that Resistance and MGS are boring, myself, actually.

Funny how you cling to those two games, though.

Oh, yeah, Nintendo should be ashamed because they're allowing developers to make games (none of those are first party games, you realise, right?) that'll appeal to someone other than 18-35 year old males. The horror! Little girls might want to play video games! Families might want to play games together! Shun!

No, they shouldn't be ashamed at all, because they're being damn intelligent in their marketing strategy. And it's certainly working out quite well for them. Certainly better than Sony's strategy of focusing on more hardcore gamers and confusing consumers by discontinuing and putting out a new version of their system every 6 months and never actually officially announcing any of the features of it.

Seriously, you do come off as a fanboy. There are awesome games on other systems and graphics do not make a game great.

Okay, me throwing in a take on a movie quote was intelligent and classy. You shoehorning one in wasn't. At all. Especially when it's one of my favorite movies.

Nintendo shouldn't be embarrassed at all, because allowing third party developers to develop games targeted outside the range of 18-35 year old males nets them a crapload more money than Sony's elitist "hardcore gamer" focus does. That's not bad. It's good business.

And for the record, I've had my 360 nearly a year, and have had no problems with it whatsoever. The RRoD is not a be-all end-all apocalypse, and guess what? If you do get one, Microsoft gives you a replacement console for free. So it's mostly irrelevant.

For graphics, they're not really that important. I have more fun with Okami than GTA 4. Hell, I have more fun with LoZ: The Wind Waker than I do with GTA 4. The graphics don't matter.

As for a system with awesome games, just about every worthwhile game the PS3 has is also on the 360. And the 360 has many more stellar exclusives.

He could at least mention Heavenly Sword to keep MGS4 company.

As you can see the price cut worked for the 360. I must insist that Sony have got to give the PS3 a price cut this year.

Yes, I agree, making too many versions is not the way to go...but a price cut is always good for the gamers. Buyers want cheaper consoles....let's take that into perspective. People see "ON SALE" and people will buy. Sony knows this with the PS2. They should do the same with the PS3.

Should be interesting, blu ray players will hopefully drop a few bucks gearing up to Christmas. It would be the perfect present to all those people that went and bought a nice shiny HD tv for the Olympics....drop the PS3 price to compete and sales would go up a bit. Not enough to cover manufacturing losses though.

Yeah, when it does break down, have fun playing it while it is at Microsoft. I have had my PS3 for 1 year, 0 problems.

My point remains proven. There are plenty of 360 owners out there who have never had the RRoD.

And have had, of course, the superior game selection.

No way it is better than Resistance, FEAR, Turok, Conflict: Denied Ops, Army of Two

wow...6 games mentioned...4 are terrible...one is utterly horrendous...and 1 is reasonable at best

and all are essentially similar

wonder if anyone in the world wants to play games that aren't shooters???

it's always the same thing with the debate and has been for the last 4 generations of consoles

people choose 1...sometimes 2...rarely all current generations because finances don't allow the average joe to get all them...so they have to try and downplay the consoles they didn't buy and talk up the one they did so they feel more comfortable in the choice they made...it's quite pathetic but it's human nature

fact is...there's great games on all the current gen systems that don't appear on the others....if you can swap a friend a shot of consoles for a few weeks then chances are you'll get to play all them

if you take the piss out your friend for choosing a different console and a game comes out on it you want to play...it's your own fault if your friend tells you to go **** yourself for being dick in the 1st place

It's not inevitable. I'm not sure why you think it is. But it doesn't happen to everyone.

Wow, I didn't even notice this list of games. Okay, so yeah. Only one is known to be anything more than decent. Two are meh, and two are downright crap.

Not to mention that it sort of kills your point when only one of those games is PS3-only.

Yeah but when it happens to you, have fun playing it.

Ok, maybe I pushed it too far with Turok, and Conflict: Denied Ops, but the others are better.

Not to mention only one of those listed is exclusive. The rest multiplatform...

No blu-ray for me yet...but a cheaper player would make a great gift. I'll take one if that is the case.

Once again you are assuming that it is inevitable and that it happens to everyone. This is not the case.

And yeah, because having to go a couple of weeks without playing certain games is such a horrible hardship. I swear, it's really the end of the world. Whatever shall I do? Come on now. If that's such a big problem, then I'd say you have other, much bigger problems, than simply a broken console.

And I've never heard a single good thing about Army of Two...

Did you not read my post? I said when it happens to you, have fun playing games.

Well, since I have never have had a broken console in my entire life, I don't have big problems. If my PS3 died, I would play my PS2, or PSP until I got another one.

I liked it, 8.5/10, and my friends also said it was fun.

Yes, I did read your post. You said "when it happens", implying that it WILL happen.

And yeah, if my 360 should ever die (if, not when), I'll still have fun playing games. I have about 10 other systems in my house. I've no shortage of games to play.

And at least if my 360 does die (not a single problem with it so far), I won't have to pay to get a new one.

Yes, because every Xbox360 has the same problem, the newest ones just have it less. So if it does happen, which it probably, you won't be playing it for a while.

Yeah, you should still play all of your other games for other systems. I have about 10 systems in my house as well. I will never be bored, and if I do, I have a great imagination.

How long have you had it, and is it the newest one?

The failure rate may be high, but it's actually not that high - it's still a minority of machines that it occurs to. So probability dictates that it probably will not happen.

My system? I bought a used one a year ago. The one I have was actually manufactured in March of 2006, according to the serial number. So it's an old one. However, I'm still not worried about it going out on me.
