Number one, it's nowhere near the majority because doing so voids your warranty (which is probably why Microsoft told you you'd have to pay for your repairs), and number two, that doesn't make it okay.

Curious about the NXE, was hoping to get it down before going to school (as we just got a message on XBL saying "when you log in to Xbox Live on November 19th, the update will begin downloading", however being 8 hours into November 19th, nothing has happened yet, darned slowpokes.

I played with it for about 5 minutes this morning before, made a quick avatar. I liked what I saw, its just so much cleaner and well designed than the blades, and there is no delay like you got with the blades. I was surprised how quickly such a huge change downloaded and installed, I wish my PS3 could do that, I cringe everytime it says there is an update needed.

Im going to do some hard drive cleaning when I get off work, I have like 50 gigs of useless demos and videos to get rid of. 😮

It's updating now, ETA 1 min, I'm anxious to see how this works.

On a side note, I saw that some netflix movies are not possible to get on the 360, but since this is a NA exclusive I didn't read much about it, some licensing trouble.

How big is the NXE update? how long does it take to download?

...I'm getting a 360 this week... I was supposed to get a PS3, but the guy I was buying it from sold them all... so I have to settle with a DS and 360 arcade...

at least I get to play Gears 2 now woot

... and wait till December to play MGS4...

It is very quick, it took probably less than 10 minutes to download and install.

Took about 2 min to download and install here, so pretty small.

Also, been trying to install CoD 4 (since every time I play the game the 360 scratch it a little every time), yet it keeps failing at 20 %....

its a fun update.

Its funny how Bungie sent an alert to tell the Halo Nation how the install would'nt work with Halo 3 since they maximized the disc to perform great as it was and thus would only cause longer load times, slower matchmaking and everyone making fun of you. It was nice for them to give us this warning before actually installing the disc.

Go Bungie! Quite possibly the company most devoted to their community.
