It's the same thing as a faq sheet, or walkthrough on youtube. The only difference is that its in the game.I like the ability to see how to beat something that I couldn't figure out and the only reason why I want to continue is because I want to see what happens afterwords.
Sometimes I dont have the time to see there and look at a puzzle, or get stuck to the game so I try to figure out and if I don't in a reasonable amount of time, I consult a faq sheet.
Also, some games have completely out there puzzles and not in a million years would I have figured it out.
And as far as the whole argument goes for kids, it fails, as they'll acquire considerably better comprehension skills by following one of them player's guide books (if they're too young to read, why are they playing an in-depth game?), as opposed to seeing the whole thing done for them, which results in nothing more than a "monkey see, monkey do" kind of thing, ultimately describing and being the product of the cause and effect relationship discussed, not the child's understanding of the concept.

And as for that Battlefront III footage, pretty sweet stuff. It's too bad they're bankrupt though. I guess Midway's not the only one now.

Still, being able to see how to beat something while on Pause mode literally kills the purpose of playing a game at all. It takes away the exploration, the adventure, the intuitive thinking skills to solving puzzles, everything. The whole point is gone.
Then don't watch the preview?
It's not like they force you, it's just a much faster wya to find the info then to go to your PC and search for it.
It's not like it will be automatically showing once you pause the game.
It will be like hit Options, walk through or something, then hopefully chose what part you you can't get past.
If it's like that, then that would be a sweet feature, but if it show as an intro movie to a level or something, then you would have a point.
As for child's, it's brilliant. I don't know how many times when I was young that I couldn't figure out a puzzle. It happened with Zelda alot.

Those are my favorite parts of the game. When I can't solve that puzzle.

And in response to this, I will simply note to the general public that they can listen to someone who actually studies the industry and knows how such business works, or they can listen to Nactous.
Ha, "studies the industry", I bet I know more than you anyday. If you recall there was a KotOR 3 that was canned, that game got pretty far into develpment as well. Im not saying there wont be a Battlefront 3, Im just saying that wont be a Battlefront 3.

KOTOR3? You mean a game that never existed but for fanboy speculation and rumor, and the only things official ever said about it were that it wasn't being made?

It's a very common practice in the game industry to buy existing game assets from failed developers, because it saves time and effort. Rest assured that the market release Battlefront 3 will be built upon the current framework.

Actually if you payed attention to the buisness back in 05 you can discover that the team that was developing the game was laid off;

There was never any KotOR 3, beyond debunked speculation and a mistaken presentation slide.

Your reading comprehension is lacking. Number one, that's dated from 2005, not 2004. Number two, the only games actually mentioned in the actual 'article' are Battlefront, Republic Commando, and EpIII. And there's no actual source for it - postings on a random message board do not count.

That was speculation, not actual fact. Just because someone sees SW concept art and assumes it to be KOTOR3 doesn't make it so.

Nothing actually links the images to any particular project, beyond unofficial speculation about the supposed KotOR 3. Most likely they were overflow from previous games that Zhang personally liked and kept in case he was called back for a later project.
Overflow of concept art from a previous game dated 2004? Being that the game was released in 04 I find that very unlikely. Obsidian is fast but not that fast. I also think it is odd that you consider the Battlefront 3 video "solid" anyway. It has no more credibility than the rumors or that concept art.
